TVNHS formally began its series of activities for Grade 10 students as part of the week-long celebration of the Career Guidance Program with this year’s theme, “Career Pathing, Future Proofing!”, Para sa Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa!”
The activity is carried out yearly in accordance with Republic Act 11206, also known as the Secondary Career Guidance and Counseling Act, which aims to institutionalize a career guidance and counseling program for students in all private and public secondary schools “in order to provide learners with proper direction in pursuing subsequent tertiary education.”
Furthermore, each participating school was given adequate time to discuss the strands they offer, the benefits of taking each strand, and the opportunity to promote their school in order to motivate learners to enroll in their school. Each school had its own method of attracting students’ attention, such as flyers, simple tokens, and various forms of rewards for active learners.
