Tropical Village National High School took part in the 3-day Division Training for the Upskilling of Research Facilitators and Workshop on the Development of Research Manual of Style at Bayleaf Hotel on May 2-4, 2023.
Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, together with Mrs. Jenilyn Loyola, Master Teacher I, actively participated in the said training, which aimed to determine the guidelines, processes, and procedures in managing research activities, to demonstrate knowledge and skills in providing technical assistance in the conduct of research, and lastly, to develop a research manual that will serve as a reference in the conduct of research and other activities.
Moreover, the three keynote speakers comprehensively and extensively discussed the topics assigned to them. Mr. Royce A. Salva, who vigorously discussed research publication procedures; Mr. John G. Nepomuceno, who comprehensively presented the format of the Research Manual of Style; and Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, who precisely explained the Division Research Agenda.
The 3-day training and workshop provided the participants with a deeper understanding of the significance of disseminating research results through both paper presentations and publications.
The said training workshop is in line with the Division Education Development Plan 2023–2028 under Enabling Mechanism #4, “improve and modernize internal systems and processes for a responsive and efficient delivery of basic education services”.
