Tropicalian Learners and Teachers Engage in National Statistics Month Celebration

Tropicalian teachers and learners expressed their satisfaction with the activities organized during the National Statistics Month this October 2023 with its theme “Accelerating Progress: Promoting Data and Statistics for a Healthy Philippines.”

Tropicalian learners showcased their talent in the poster making contest during the National Statistics Month.

In accordance with the said celebration, the Mathematics Department, under the headship of Mrs. Lea P. Amon, OIC-Department Head, prepared a number of engaging activities and competitions with the aims of promoting, enhancing, and instilling awareness and appreciation of the importance and values of Statistics to the various sectors of society as well as eliciting the cooperation and support of the general

public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country.

From October 16 to 23, Tropicalian learners participated in various academic competitions, including slogan and poster-making contests, Statistiktok, and the Quiz Bee.

Career Talk: Promoting Statistics to High School Students in CALABARZON together with selected learners.

As Gordon Gekko mentioned, “Data really powers everything that we do,” that’s why TVNHS will continue to promote the use of Statistics.
