TVNHS successfully conducted a one-day seminar entitled “RACE Against Suicide: Strengthening Suicide Prevention through Gender-Responsive Strategies for Educators and Students,” which was attended by teachers and selected students.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the prevalence of suicide and its impact on individuals and families. It also sought to equip participants with practical, evidence-based strategies for identifying individuals at risk, while promoting mental wellness and resilience among all Tropicalian learners and teachers.
Keynote speakers Mr. Emerico V. Rasing, RGC and Director of the Student Wellness Center at DLSU-D and Ms. Virgimin R. Panganiban, RGC at CRS-DLSMHSI, shared their expertise on the topic.
Participants were actively engaged throughout the seminar, especially during the open forum and the presentation of outputs.
In the end, the seminar was a resounding success, achieving its target goals of fostering awareness and providing valuable insights on suicide prevention.

On December 6, Grade 9 students displayed their skills in the “Memory Game” during the activity entitled, “Science Culminating Activity: Capturing Learners’ Interest and Demonstrating MELC-Based Competencies in Science,” held at the TVNHS Covered Court.

Egama, Teacher II, attended the three-day Division Training-Workshop on Practical Approaches to Handling Children with Special Needs, held from December 3 to 5 at Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort, Cavite.

TVNHS Madrasah Education Program (MEP) team actively took part in the 3-day Division Training on the Capacity Building for Asatidz and MEP Implementers on the Implementation of Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education for K, Grade 1, Grade 4 and Grade 7 held from November 18-20 at Aquamira Hotel and Resort, Naic, Cavite.
