Selected TVNHS teachers attended and actively participated in the three-day Regional Training on School Personnel on SNED Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Creation of School-Based Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) held at M.I. Sevilla Resort, Lucena City, from October 16–18, 2025.

Earlier today, Mr. Isaias R. Paraiso Jr., Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, and Mrs. Lea P. Amon, Head Teacher I, assisted Engr. Abhram P. Colocado, Division Engineer III, and Mr. Richard P. Duque, Division DRRM Coordinator, in monitoring the evaluation of school programs and disaster preparedness.

Mrs. Angelita P. Allarey, Guidance Advocate, and Mrs. Teresa A. Colada, Reproductive Health Coordinator, attended and took part in the Project Oplan Kalusugan (OK) sa DepEd GenTri: Division One Health Week Celebration held on October 13–18, 2025, at the SDO Multi-Purpose Hall.

On October 14, TVNHS conducted an Earthquake Drill: “Practice Makes Preparedness!” activity to raise disaster awareness, strengthen safety measures, and ensure that students and staff are well-prepared for any emergency situation.

On October 13, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, together with Mr. Jeffrey M. Rodil, ICT Teacher, and Mrs. Jacqueline D. Leaban, TLE Teacher, assisted the Queens Row Elementary School team, led by Ms. Cherrylyn H. Dayao, Principal IV, along with Mr. Christian C. Nolasco and Mr. Jomar T. Petilo, in benchmarking the School Portal.
During the activity, the TVNHS team demonstrated the essential processes and key features of creating and managing a school portal, emphasizing its importance in improving school operations, strengthening communication, and ensuring better accessibility of information.

In celebration of the 36th National Statistics Month with the theme “Accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pace of Progress: Mobilizing Data for All,” the Tropical Village National High School Mathematics Department spearheaded a series of engaging activities such as the Symposium on Presentation and Automation of Data in Tables and Graphs, Slogan Making, Digital Poster Making, Quiz Bee, and StatStreak: The Instant Data Challenge held on October 7–10, 2025, highlighting the importance of data in driving sustainable development.

Selected Grade 7 students participated in a toothbrushing activity under the OK sa DepEd (Oplan Kalusugan sa DepEd) program, promoting proper oral hygiene and healthy habits among learners.

Selected Tropicalian learners under the School-Based Feeding Program enjoyed a nutritious meal prepared by Mrs. Amorcita P. Endaya and Mrs. Teresita M. Luseco, TLE teachers.

Earlier today, Tropicalian journalists under the supervision of Mr. Mackjoe D. Camacho, School Paper Adviser, attended the Workshop on Collaborative Desktop Publishing at SDO Multipurpose Hall.

TVNHS Science department concluded its Science Month Celebration with an Awarding Ceremony on October 6, 2025 at TVNHS Covered Court.
Students from all levels were given recognition for their exemplary performances in of the activities conducted during the said celebration.

Tropical Village National High School conducted an orientation program titled “Strengthening Knowledge on Reproductive Health Education: An Orientation on DepEd Order No. 025, s. 2025” aimed at enhancing teachers’ understanding of reproductive health education and its effective integration across various learning areas.
This was spearheaded by Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, who discussed comprehensively the Guidelines on Reproductive Health Education, Contextualization of Reproductive Health Topics for the Midweek Talk Series, and the Integration of Reproductive Health Topics Across Learning Areas during the LAC Seminar at the audio-visual room on October 2, 2025.

On October 6, Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher II, oriented the teachers and discussed DepEd Memorandum No. 089, s. 2025, titled “Guidelines on the Multi-Year Performance Management and Evaluation System for Teachers from School Years 2025–2026 to 2027–2028,” to ensure proper dissemination of information and foster understanding of the new guidelines.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, together with Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, welcomed and oriented the pre-service teachers from CvSU–Main Campus.

Earlier today, Mr. Mackjoe D. Camacho, School Paper Adviser, spearheaded a meeting with fellow School Paper Advisers to discuss matters concerning the upcoming Cluster-Based Training on October 10–11, as well as the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC).

In adherence to DepEd Order No. 025 s, 2025 known as ” Policy on the Implementation of Reproductive Health Education for Adolescent Learners in Basic Education,” and in observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, Araling Panlipunan Department, headed by Mrs. Sonia D. Reyes, OIC-Department Head, held its weekly Midweek Talk Series with the topic: “Beyond Screen: Effects of Social Media on This Generation’s Mental Health.” The session was facilitated by Pastor Brylle Jasfer B. Adufina, Associate Pastor of Journey Church Philippines.
