Dr. Maria Heidi Alaine Tahir, EPS in Kindergarten and SPED, visited Tropical Village National High School to monitor and supervise the current status of the special education program of the school for students with disabilities, October 18.
During her visit, she checked the LWDs’ profiles and their current status. In addition, she provided the school with both technical support and suggestions in order to improve the school’s ability to carry out inclusive education, particularly for the benefit of students who have disabilities.
Strengthening and promoting inclusivity to learners with disabilities is in accordance with DepEd Order No. 44 s 2021 or Policy Guidelines on the Provision of Educational Programs and Services for Learners with Disabilities in the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
