TVNHS Empowers School Committees Through Capacity Building on Gender-Responsive Performance and Services for S.Y. 2025-2026
Earlier today, Tropical Village National High School (TVNHS) successfully conducted a Capacity Building on Rendering Gender-Responsive Committee Performances and Services Aligned with School Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) for School Year 2025-2026, which was actively participated in by both teaching and non-teaching personnel.

10th Moving-Up Ceremony with the theme, “Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay sa Bagong Pilipinas”
The 10th Moving-Up Ceremony of Tropical Village National High School (TVNHS) was held on April 14, 2025, at the school’s covered court, with the theme, “Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay sa Bagong Pilipinas.” The event was a celebration of academic milestones, unity, and hope as the school honored its Grade 10 completers for School Year 2024–2025.

Musabaqah Culminating and Moving-Up Ceremony 2025
Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, Tropical Village National High School successfully held its Culminating Activity and Moving-up Ceremony on April 8, 2025, at the school’s covered court. The event commenced with the registration of participants facilitated by Ma. Teresa A. Colada, Teacher II, and Mary Jane G. Valdez, Teacher III.

TVNHS Conducts Science Culminating Activity Capturing Learners’ Interest and Demonstrating MELC-Based Competencies in Science
Tropical Village National High School through the Science Department conducted a culminating activity entitled, “Science Culminating Activity: Capturing Learners’ Interest and Demonstrating MELC-Based Competencies in Science,” on April 4, 2025, 7:30am to 1:00 pm at TVNHS Covered Court, which was participated by all teachers and students.

Like Ko Si Ma’am”: A Remarkable Highlight of the Women’s Month Celebration
The Women’s Month Celebration at Tropical Village National High School was made even more special with the much-anticipated “Like Ko Si Ma’am” competition on March 28, 2025. The event honored the grace, wisdom, and dedication of female educators while fostering admiration and appreciation from students and fellow teachers.

Tropicalians Showcase Innovative Skills and Competencies in Tropicalian Youthpreneur Season 2 Culminating Activity
On March 21, 2025, the much-anticipated launch of Tropicalian Youthpreneur Season 2 took place with a vibrant and engaging opening ceremony that set the tone for an exciting season of innovation, skill-building, and entrepreneurial exploration.

TVNHS Celebrates Math Festival 2025 with the theme “Mathematics, Art, and Creativity
Tropical Village National High School, under the supervision of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, school principal, and the Mathematics Department headed by Mrs. Lea P. Amon (Head Teacher I), conducted a four-day activity in celebration of the Mathematics Festival 2025 with the theme “Mathematics, Art, and Creativity from March 17-20, 2025.

“DEMO FEST: Sharing Effective Teaching Practices on Classroom Observable Indicators”
In support to D.O. No.035, s.2016 and DM No.17 s.2025, Tropical Village National High School conducted SLAC entitled: “DEMO FEST: Sharing Effective Teaching Practices on Classroom Observable Indicators”on March 13, 2025,1:00pm to 4:00 pm at TVNHS Audiovisual and ICT Room simultaneously, participated by all teaching personnel and selected students.

UNLOCKING YOUR FUTURE: NAVIGATING CAREER CHOICES AND BUILDING A PATH TO SUCCESS
In support of Republic Act 10533 and Republic Act 11206, TVNHS conducted its annual Career Guidance Advocacy Program with the theme “UNLOCKING YOUR FUTURE: NAVIGATING CAREER CHOICES AND BUILDING A PATH TO SUCCESS” at TVNHS Covered Court, attended by teaching related personnel, selected teachers, and G10 students on March 11-12, 2025.

Empowering Journalists: Training Workshop on Campus Journalism and School Papering
Aiming to equip participants with the skills and techniques needed to craft compelling newspaper articles, write clear and engaging content, and edit effectively, Tropical Village National High School held a Training Workshop on Campus Journalism and School Papering for selected teachers and students. on March 8, 2025, at TVNHS Audio Visual Room.

TVNHS Upskills Teachers and Students in Writing Research Paper
With the aim of equipping participants with the skills needed to write a research paper and guiding teachers and students in formulating research titles and developing statements of the problem, Tropical Village National High School successfully conducted a two-day seminar entitled “UPSKILLING TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN WRITING A RESEARCH PAPER” on February 19-20, 2025, at the TVNHS Multipurpose Room.

TVNHS Conducts Third Quarter SMEA
R.A. 9155 describes shared governance as a management approach for providing high-quality education. It states which functional areas the various levels of management will share, as well as their respective tasks. Schools’ evolving functions are in line with national educational goals, objectives, and standards. This requires the implementation of SMEA for School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment at all levels. This is to give objective information that can be utilized to support decision-making in order to continuously enhance the organizational performance of the division mission and education service delivery in order to achieve the targeted output and long-term educational results.

TVNHS Conducts SLAC on Open Broadcasting Software
In support to Deped Memorandum No.054, s, 2023 known as the MATATAG Curriculum that focuses on the four critical components: MAke the curriculum relevant to produce competent and job-ready, active, and responsible citizens; TAke steps to accelerate delivery of basic education facilities and services; TAke good care of learners by promoting learner well-being, inclusive education, and a positive learning environment; and Give support to teachers to teach better, and DM No. 408 s 2024, TVNHS conducted a school-based roll-out of the Division’s “Addressing Digital Divides through Open Broadcasting Software: Innovating e- Learning Resources in Capacity Building of Educators through Google Digital Technologies in Education” .

TVNHS Conducts Five-day Seminar on Provision Of Educational Programs and Services For Learners With Disability
TVNHS conducted a seminar entitled, “Focus On Inclusion: Provision Of Educational Programs, Services For Learners With Disability” on November 4-8, 2024 at TVNHS Multipurpose room and covered court participated by selected teachers, students, and parents that aimed at fostering inclusivity in education for learners with disabilities.

Triumph and Teamwork: TVNHS Intramurals Closing and Awarding Ceremony
The closing and awarding ceremony of the TVNHS Intramurals was a grand celebration that encompassed the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. The event began with the solemn rendition of the National Anthem, beautifully performed by the TVNHS Drum and Lyre Band and the Glee Club, setting a patriotic tone for the gathering.

Tropical Village National High School conducted the First Quarter SMEA or School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment spearheaded by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, last September 06, 2024, at exactly 9:00 in the morning.

TVNHS Concludes NLC 2024 with Culmination Day
Tropical Village National High School, led by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, and supported by Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, and Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, along with its dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, successfully concluded the National Learning Camp 2024 with an closing program held at the school’s covered court on July 19.

TVNHS Hosts Division Madrasah Education Program 3rd Quarterly Meeting
Tropical Village National High School, under the leadership of Principal IV Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, with the support of Head Teacher III Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher I Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, school MEP coordinator Mr. Jaymark C. Doca, and Ustadz Abdullah Macaampao, Ustadz Monaim Mohammad, and Ustadzah Sherwida Jawali, hosted the Division Madrasah Education Program 3rd Quarterly meeting on August 22 in the Multipurpose Room.

TVNHS, through the Mathematics Department with the assistance of FS students from Cavite State University – main campus, continued to bring fun-filled and educational Catch Up Together activities on Catch-Up Friday to selected pupils of Tapia Elementary School on May 3, 2024.

TVNHS-Mathematics Department Facilitates Catch up Together
TVNHS through the Mathematics Department continued bringing fun-filled and educational Catch up Together activities to selected pupils of Tropical Village Elementary School on March 15.

TVNHS launches ‘Catch Up Together
The Tropical Village National High School, under the leadership of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, launched “Catch Up Together: Strengthening School-to-School Partnership in Enhancing Students’ Literacy and Numeracy Skills” with its receiving school, Tropical Village Elementary School, under the leadership of Dr. Albin A. Cadimas, Principal IV, to address learning difficulties in numeracy and literacy on February 16, 2024.

PESO Gentri initiates Career Advocacy and Employment Coaching
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the City Government of General Trias, through its Public Employment Service Office, have initiated a Career Advocacy and Employment Coaching (CAEC) program at TVNHS, in which all Grade 10 learners participated. The program’s goal is to prepare the students for employment.

TVNHS continues ‘Catch Up Together’
The school continued in conducting Catch Up Together with the Tropical Village Elementary School sixth grade pupils. English department held the 3rd Friday activity for them. The said activity started with the preparatory activities, which began with greetings and checking of attendance. It was facilitated by Ma’am Jane B. Dacaymat and Mrs. Dayren B. Bawalan. Also, Mrs. Leizl P. Lorica, Mrs. Richelle Ramirez, and Mrs. Dayren B. Bawalan led the preliminary activity, in which the pupils were grouped and asked to arrange rumbled letters to form a word based on a picture.

SSLG hosts Valentine’s Day Program
The Supreme Secondary Leader Government (SSLG), under the leadership of Wafa O. Omar, SSLG President, and with the guidance of Mr. Samuel Poblete, SSLG Adviser, hosted the Valentine’s Day Program which showcased Tropicalian talents through competitions held at the covered court earlier today, February 14, 2024.

TVNHS Conducts Five-Day INSET
Based on paragraph 22 of DO.No.22 s.2023 ,there shall be an annual five-day break that shall be spent for the conduct of the Midyear Performance Review and Evaluation and the School-Based In-service Training (INSET) of teachers. For SY 2023-2024, the five-day midyear break shall be from January 24-26 and January 29-30, 2024.The five-day midyear break shall be devoted to the conduct of school-based INSET activities for the teachers and preparation of instructional materials.

TVNHS Conducts Kickoff of Catch-up Fridays
Tropical Village National High School demonstrated its complete support for Deped Memorandum No.001, s. 2024, titled The Implementation of Catch-up Fridays, by conducting a Kick-off program last Friday, January 12, 2024.

TVNHS launches SPFL- Korean Language
The Special Program for Foreign Language—Korean Language—was launched at Tropical Village High School for selected students from the 9th and 10th grades. It was led and made possible by the Principal IV, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus.

he English Department, under the headship of Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I/OIC-Department Head, Mrs. Jane B. Dacaymat, Reading Coordinator, and all the English Teachers, conducted different activities and contests in celebration of National Reading Month this November.

TVNHS actively participate and support the celebration of National Statistics Month
The Tropicalian teachers and learners expressed their satisfaction with the activities organized during the National Statistics Month this October 2023. The event, centered around the topic “Accelerating Progress: Promoting Data and Statistics for a Healthy Philippines,” was well-received by the participants.

TVNHS officially begins Intramurals 2023
TVNHS, along with its Tropicalian family and Principal IV, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, ha forrmally begun the latest Intramurals sports event of this year with the theme “Building Teamwork and Camaraderie through Sports” for all students and teachers on November 13, 2023 packed with entertaining acts for all learners.

Tropicalian learners enjoyed the activities conducted during the Science Month celebration with the theme “Agham at Teknolohiya: Sandigan ng Kalusugan, Kabuhayan, Kaayusan at Kinabukasan on September 1- October 6.

URC-USAID through LGU General Trias City Holds Free X-ray Examination
With the aim of raising public awareness about TB symptoms and availability of TB services in communities, the University Research Company (URC) USAID in partnership with Local Government Unit of General Trias City through City Health Office conducted a free X-ray examination to 187 Tropicalian learners on October 20.
