Selected Students and Teachers Attend Mental Health Awareness Campaign

On October 21, 2022, selected students and teachers of Tropical Village National High School attended a Mental Health Awareness Campaign titled

” Kaibigan, Usap Tayo!” at Governor Luis A. Ferrer Jr. East National High School.

The event’s goals are to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, to raise awareness about various mental issues and to identify various stressors that may affect not only students but also adults.

Prof. Angelo Carlo Pilapil , Current Head Psychologist at Exalt Psychological Clinic, explained the various mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, and depression, while Ptr. Alfredo Candaza -JSOA AG Dasma Church Pastor and Ptr. Jordan Morados discussed the effects of early pregnancy.

The symposium is one of barangay’s projects spearheaded by Hon. Eduardo Umali, Barangay Captain and Hon. Ryan T. Santor, Barangay Councilor and Chairman of the Committee on Health.
