Earlier today, October 27, Tropical Village National High School held an orientation for parents regarding the literacy and numeracy intervention project.
The program was spearheaded by Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher I, Mrs. Jane B. Dacaymat, English Reading Coordinator, and Mrs. Emely Castro, OIC-Head of Filipino under the supervision of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, and Mr. Patricio H. Cruzada, Head Teacher III.
During the orientation, the students’ schedules, worksheets, and other concerns were discussed.
The purpose of the orientation was to enlighten parents about the process and flow of reading and mathematics activities.
The intervention programs in the three learning areas, particularly Project Sinulid STAR, Project Back to Square One, and Project SIKAP, adhere to the SDO’s Gentri Sinulid, which aims to bridge the reading and numeracy gaps.
The literacy and numeracy intervention activities will commence on November 2, 2022.
