On November 10, 2022, Tropical Village National High School participated in the Fourth Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.
The activity began at 8:55 a.m. and was followed by the ceremonial pressing of the button at 9:00 a.m. to mark the official beginning of the fourth quarter of the NSED.
Students, faculty, and staff participated in the drill by performing the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure while following public health precautions.
As part of the school’s disaster preparedness program, this activity, which was led by the SDRRM Coordinator, Mr. Jomar A. Liveta, aimed to emphasize the necessity of being prepared for natural disasters such as earthquakes.
NSED is conducted in compliance to RA 10121, also known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 (PDRRM Act of 2010).
