In support of Republic Act (RA) No. 10556, Memorandum DM-CI-2022-389, and Proclamation No. 837, s. 1991, Tropical Village National High School conducted the month long Reading Month Celebration with the theme “Reading and Literacy: Unlock a World of Untold Possibilities” on November 7- 28, 2022 which was participated by all of the students, teaching and non-teaching personnel.
Digital Poster Making, Book Vlog Challenge, A Trip to the World of Literature, Most Influential Literary Character, SSG English trivia, Ring that Bell: Drop Everything and Read, Reading Ambassador, Search for Best Reading Corner were the activities during the month-long Reading Month.
The activities were held to promote reading to learners, develop among students, teachers and parents essential reading and literacy skills, showcase teachers and student’s hidden talents and potentials; and boost the student’s confidence in using the language and become good communicator.
This annual activity was initiated by English and Filipino Department headed by their OIC- Department Heads, Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Mrs. Emily Castro with the full support of the whole English and Filipino Department and with the support of the School Head, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus.
