Tropical Village National High School learners received bibles from the Cathedral of Praise Church during their 3rd Flag Ceremony earlier today, May 22.
“Pinakamahal ni lord ay ang people,” said Pastor Timothy Sergeant, the associate pastor of the church.
Being the spokesperson of the church at the event, he stated to the students that people are what God loves the most, which includes the learners, and believes that God loves them and is helping them to succeed in life.
“Alam niyo ba gusto ni lord makapagtapos kayo? Ganon niya kayo ka-love,” he said to the audience.
He also expressed that their teachers and all of those who manage the school love them too, saying that they sacrifice everything just to help them achieve their future and that all that they do is for their benefit.
Additionally, the Cathedral of Praise Church, under the leadership of Pastor Timothy Sergeant and Sir Conception Moral, President of the HOA Federation, gave students pocket-sized forms on which they could request religious assistance from the church in addition to bibles for them to read.
The program was a success, as all learners left with new knowledge, Bibles in hand, and absolute cooperation. -Khalid Ladja
