Under “Project Parola” which aims to illuminate the world by broadening their knowledge and critical thinking abilities, Rogationist College’s Senior High School Department donated reference books to Tropical Village National High School today, May 25.
Mrs. Marites D. Yayong, SHS Principal, together with 12 HUMSS students accompanied by their teacher from the said school spearheaded the turnover of the reference books to the school.
“Isa lang po hinihiling namin, na sana ay makatulong sa kanila, basahin dahil iba parin ang koneksyon mo kapag ikaw ay nagbabasa ng physical book. Gusto namin na matulungan sila at ma-motivate sila na magbasa, mag-aral para po sa maganda future ng mga batang ito,” said Mrs. Yayong.
Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, expressed gratitude to Rogationist College for choosing the school as one of the recipients of the books.
According to him, these books will help Tropicalian students continually shed light on their school and community.
The short program concluded with a smile on everyone’s face, not only as a result of the newly formed partnership between both schools but also in an effort to shed light on the future of Tropicalian students by making them aware of the importance of reading books.
The program was participated by selected TVNHS teachers and students.
