Engineer Julie Therese Crisostomo, City Engineer of General Trias, conducted an on-site inspection of the school buildings on Friday, May 19, 2023.Buildings older than two decades were suggested to be condemned. The school’s action will be directed by DO 107 s 2010—Revised Guidelines on the Condemnation and Demolition of the School Building. Engr. Crisostomo also mentions a potential location for a projected four-storey structure with twelve classrooms.
Throughout the inspection, Engr. Crisostomo also investigated the electrical wiring in the school building and recommended improving the electrical supply. This will be supported through the General Trias City Local Government Unit’s Special Education Fund.
As the Matatag agenda, a brainchild of Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte, four critical components: MAking the curriculum relevant to produce competent and job-ready, active, responsible citizens; Taking steps to accelerate delivery of basic education facilities and services; Taking good care of learners by promoting learner well-being, inclusive education, and a positive learning environment; and Giving support to teachers to teach better; Tropical Village National High School in the leadership of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, continues to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for all the learners and to achieve the agenda which is to take steps to accelerate the delivery of basic education facilities and services.

Labuguen,6th District Congressman, Hon. Antonio “Ony” A. Ferrer, and City Councilors through the coordination of Division of General Trias City headed by Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda, Schools Division Superintendent.
