Mr. Jerel Aaron M. Fojas, DPWH- Cavite 1st District Engineering Office Representative, and Engr. Faustino C. Sison Jr., SDO-Engineer, inspected Tropical Village National High School on May 29.
The inspection was conducted to evaluate the potential site for the construction of a four (4) storey, eight (8)classroom school building.
Mr. Fojas and Mr. Sison visited the approved demolition building. In addition, the site was measured to determine the appropriate number of floors and classrooms to be built.
Based on the results of the National Building School Inventory (NSBI), the Department of Education was able to grant the school the building it needed.
The provision of a four (4) storey, eight (8)classroom building is one of the main missions of the school under the supervision of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, as the school strives to adhere to DepEd’s new mantra, MATATAG: Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa, focusing on accelerating delivery of basic education facilities and services.
The upcoming building construction will be funded by the Basic Education Facilities Fund through the initiative of Congressman Antonio “Ony” A. Ferrer and the consistent support of the SDO-General Trias City, headed by Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda, CESO V.
