TVNHS Administers National Learning Camp Pre- Assessment for Grade 7 and 8 Learners

Pursuant to Memorandum DM-OUCT-2023-148 entitled “Conduct of the National Learning Camp (NLC) Assessment on English, Science, and Mathematics”, Tropical Village National High School began administering the computer-based Pre-Assessment on National Learning Camp to Grade 7 and 8 learners, June 26.

ESP and Filipino Education Program Supervisors Monitor the Third Day of TVNHS’s Culminating Activity.

On June 20, Dr. Rizal M. Vidallo, Education Program Supervisor in ESP, and Mr. Arnaldo O. Estareja Jr., EPS in Filipino, monitored the ongoing culminating activity at the school.

Tropical Village National High School held various activities in 6 learning subjects for students to demonstrate learning through games, short film viewing, mini museum tour, manipulatives and many others, Monday, June 19, 2023.

TVNHS kicks off Culminating Activity 2023

To demonstrate learning through a showcase of students’ talents in dancing and singing, engage students in different competency-based output activities, and unleash students’ potential, the school held the culminating activity on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Newly Elected SSLG Officers Take an Oath

Newly elected officers of Tropical Village National High School’s Supreme Secondary Learner Government officially took an oath facilitated by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, earlier today, June 13.

Tropicalian learners join the nation in celebrating the 125th Philippine Independence Day through activities such as short film viewing and the setting up of flaglets in the corridor and classrooms. These activities are spearheaded by the AP department.

Sir Jani S. Galarosa and Ma’am Bing L. Bondoc members of the Bondservants Organization of Barangay Santiago Chapter, volunteer their time to participate in the school’s intensive reading intervention program.

Teachers and Learners of TVNHS participate in the Second Quarter Simultaneous Nationwide Earthquake Drill. Students, faculty, and staff of Tropical Village National High School took part in the Nationwide Earthquake Drill to prepare them when an earthquake strikes. In addition, this drill is necessary because it provides the staff and students with the knowledge they need to react quickly and appropriately when an earthquake strikes. This drastically reduces accidents and fatalities.

TVNHS intensifies Gentri SINuLiD STAR EXODUS as Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, the school head, reading teachers, and even selected students collaborate to conduct reading sessions for selected Tropicalian learners.

TVNHS holds its first-ever electronic Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) SY 2023-2024 today, June 8. The election is spearheaded by Mr. Samuel Poblete, SSLG adviser.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus meets with the OIC Heads and Project Proponents of SINuLiD STAR, SIKAP, Back to Square One, and SAGIP-CONNECT in order to discuss implementation-related issues and concerns. He emphasized the duties that the proponents and OICs have to carry out, such as doubling their efforts to ensure that all students receive the appropriate interventions.

Mr. Rogin O. Contemprato, Public Schools Division Supervisor of Cluster 10, visits the school to monitor the status of Gentri SINuLiD STAR EXODUS, early registration, and the school’s preparation for the SSLG election, June 7.

Tropicalian teachers impressively showcase their different teaching approaches and strategies in their respective classes during their second classroom observation.

During the Flag Raising Ceremony, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, along with Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, and Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, PRAISE Focal Person, gladly present the certificate of recognition to Mrs. Amorcita P. Endaya for her significant contribution to the One-Teacher, One-Project Partner by gaining the highest amounts of donations earned from April to May 2023.

Selected Tropicalian Muslim learners dance gracefully during the Musabaqah Skills Exhibition, one of the activities on the Division Festival of Talents in AP and Madrasah Education Program on May 30.

TVNHS held its Fourth Quarter School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (SMEA) for School Year 2022-2023 on June 1, 2023, in accordance with D.O No. 44, Section 2010 and Division Memorandum 461, Section 2020 and was attended by teaching and non-teaching personnel, stakeholders, SPTA Officers,Brgy. Officials and Youth Leaders.
