The Division Brigada Eskwela Monitoring Team, led by Ms. Leah Anne Misenas, Senior Education Program Specialist on Social Mobilization and Networking, together with Ms. Marichelle Ting, Nurse II, conducted onsite monitoring of the school’s Brigada implementation on August 25.
Under the supervision of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, and Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, Ms. Irene M. Dulay, Asst. BE Coordinator, along with Mrs. Dayren B. Bawalan, ASP Coordinator, presented to the BE monitoring team the proof that the school was able to meet and accomplish all the necessary Brigada Eskwela activities to Ms. Leah Anne Misenas, SEPS—Social Mobilization and Networking (SocMob).
Meanwhile, Mrs. Jacqueline D. Leaban, WinS Coordinator, discussed the different Wash In Schools activities done by the school with Ms. Marichelle Ting, SDO Nurse II.
The team examined and verified whether or not the school was able to effectively implement all Brigada Eskwela implementation and work plan activities.
After reviewing the Brigada Eskwela documents, the team provided technical assistance for the expansion and enhancement of Brigada Eskwela activities. Ms. Misenas provided some suggestions for composing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
Additionally, the monitoring team conducted onsite inspections of structures, restrooms, classrooms, and canteens.
The school was appreciative of the team’s incisive technical assistance, which will aid in the enhancement of the BE implementation for the upcoming school year.
