In celebration of National Teachers’ Month with its theme Together 4 Teachers, Tropical Village National High School conducted a series of activities from September 29–October 6, 2023.
Lakbay-Aral Activity, Hatid Handog ni Teacher, as well as the Fitness Duo, were the activities conducted by the Tropicalian teachers.
Tropicalian teaching and non-teaching personnel gathered together at the school’s covered court on September 27 to release their stress through a fitness duo activity.
The teachers were divided into two batches for the above-mentioned activities. MAPEH, Filipino, AP, and ESP departments had the Lakbay-Aral Activity at Museo de La Salle on September 29. On their tour, they were amazed by the displays they saw during the Lakbay-Aral activity.
Meanwhile, teachers from English, Mathematics, Science, and the TLE Department went to Tropical Village Elementary School to hold the Hatid-Handog ni Teacher, a gift-giving activity. They prepared educational games such as Human Word Factory and The Boat is Sinking to engage the 40 pupils, and then gift-giving came next.
Aside from the above-mentioned activities, the school will be conducting a seminar entitled Sustaining Teachers’ Mental Health and Achieving Work-Life Balance in the Teaching Environment on October 7.
This celebration was guided by Proclamation 242 s. 2011, known as ‘Declaring the Period from 5 September to 5 October of every year as ‘National Teachers’ Month.”
