Earlier today, SDO Health personnel, Dr. Mary Grace E. Javier, Medical Officer III., and Ms. Verna F. Ramos, Nurse II, assisted by Mrs. Aileen Sidamon, School Clinic Teacher, conduct health inspection to Grade 7 learners.

Tropicalian teachers undergo performance monitoring, coaching and mid-year review and assessment.

The said monitoring, coaching and mid-year review assessment is facilitated by Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher I, and Mrs. Lina M. Potante, Master Teacher I.

Monitoring, coaching and mid-year review assessment is conducted to assess teacher’s progress and provide necessary technical assistance.

On February 27, Dr. Lynette P. Rue, EPS-Math, convenes a meeting with the math teachers to ask for updates on the activities being done by the department. Also, she provides comprehensive technical assistance on the construction of periodic tests.

Tropicalian Campus journalists participate in the Regional Schools Press Conference Individual Category in Cabuyao, Laguna on February 27, 2024.

They are Gadiela Elisse O. Galope, Grade 10 Aphrodite, who competed in the Photojournalism English and Angel C. Deladia, Grade 10 Hermes, who competed in the Editorial Writing Filipino.

They were accompanied by Mrs. Leizl P. Lorica and Mrs. Dayren B. Bawalan, School Paper Advisers.

On February 26, 8th Cycle BERF Grantees, Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher I, Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, Ms. Regine C. Reforma, OIC- Head-TLE, and Ms. Jennibeth V. Ilagan, Teacher III, under the guidance of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, successfully present their research paper during the virtual 8th Cycle BERF Commencement Activity.

Catch-up Friday with Grade 10 learners, teachers, Head Teachers , under the close supervision of our school principal, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, with the special participation of Miss Jovelyn L. Olayon , Peace Educator at Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, and Miss Rizzalyn O. Aliwalas, Instructor I, Cavite State University-Laboratory Science High School as our Guest Storytellers on February 23, 2024.

Grade 9 Council headed by their Curriculum Chairperson, Mrs. Loida C. Badillo, together with English, Science and Mathematics Teachers, with a special participation of our school principal, Sir Mark Airon P. Creus, as our Storyteller through a video presentation of the story “Chenelyn, Chenelyn”, during the conduct of Catch-up Friday on February 16, 2024 at TVNHS covered court.

To strengthen the pre-vocational skills of our Tropicalian LWDs, Mrs. Angelita P. Allarey, school focal coach, and Mrs. Amorcita P. Endaya, receiving teacher, meticulously teach the 6 Tropicalian LWDs the process of making chocolate candies on February 16.

February 17

Tropical Village National High School, under the leadership of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, launched “Catch Up Together: A Strengthening School-to-School Partnership in Enhancing Students’ Literacy and Numeracy Skills” with its receiving school, Tropical Village Elementary School, under the leadership of Dr. Albin A. Cadimas, Principal IV, to address learning difficulties in numeracy and literacy on February 16, 2024.

Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS Cluster 8, was present at this event and expressed his support for this innovative program between the two schools.

Meanwhile, Dr. Creus expressed words of gratitude to the receiving school, Tropical Village Elementary School. According to him, “Mapalad po kami dahil napaunlakan kami sa isang magandang gawain na ito, kaya kami ay nagpapasalamat kay Sir Albin Cadimas.”

RO monitoring official, Virgilio O. Guevarra, Jr., accompanied by SDO Gen. Trias City personnel led by ASDS, Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CID Chief, Laura O. Garcia, and SGOD Chief, Ines L. Inocencio, monitors the school’s implementation of Catch-Up Fridays.

Tropicalian teachers express their gratitude to Congressman Antonio “Ony” Ferrer, City Councilor Martin Ferrer, City Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” Ferrer IV, and Mrs. Monette Ferrer for the Valentine’s present.

TVNHS participates in the Division conduct of Prevocational Skills Development to Selected Receiving Teachers on Chocolate and Candle Making at Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. Senior High School on February 1, 2024 at 2:00-5:00pm with the presence and close supervision of our SDS, Daisy Z. Miranda , CESO V, Ma’am Maria Heidi Alaine V. Tahir, EPS KinderGarten/SNED, and Sir Jofit P. Dayoc, EPS TLE/TV.

DepEd schools within Barangay San Francisco, such as Tropical Village Elementary School, Sunny Brooke Elementary School, Parklane Elem School, San Francisco Elementary School and Tropical Village National High School participate in the Orientation and Election of Officers of Barangay San Francisco Children’s Association on February 8.

San Francisco Brgy. Officials led by Brgy. Chairman, Hon. Ryan T. Santor and Brgy. Councilor, Committee Chair on Women, Children and Family, Hon. Quennie Mar R. Cortez-Dela Cruz, with the support and cooperation of Tropical Village National High School, holds a one-day seminar on Safer Internet Day at TVNHS covered court.

Our sincerest thanks to Brgy. Chairman, Hon. Ryan T. Santor and the rest of the Brgy. Officials, as well as Police Senior Master Sergeant, Lovely G. Gonzales, and Hon. Quennie Mar R. Cortez- Dela Cruz for choosing TVNHS as host school in conducting such a timely and relevant topic about Safer Internet Day.

TVNHS continuously conducts Catch-up Fridays both indoor and outdoor activities such as reading aloud, storytelling, fun games such as word factory and scrabble to Grade 7-10 Learners.

We are also lucky to have our Guest Storyteller, SK Chairman, Kevin Andrei C. Trinidad together with the support of teachers under the supervision of our School Principal, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus on February 2.
