The Tropical Village National High School, under the leadership of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, launched “Catch Up Together: Strengthening School-to-School Partnership in Enhancing Students’ Literacy and Numeracy Skills” with its receiving school, Tropical Village Elementary School, under the leadership of Dr. Albin A. Cadimas, Principal IV, to address learning difficulties in numeracy and literacy on February 16, 2024.
This activity aims to strengthen school-to-school partnerships by building the nation, participate in activities that address learners’ difficulties in numeracy and literacy, and appreciate the value of shared responsibility and shared governance in achieving quality basic education.
Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS Cluster 8, was present at this event and expressed his support for this innovative program between the two schools.
According to him, “This program will greatly help and enhance the abilities of the selected pupils when it comes to literacy and numeracy skills.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Creus expressed words of gratitude to the receiving school, Tropical Village Elementary School. According to him, “Mapalad po kami dahil napaunlakan kami sa isang magandang gawain na ito, kaya kami ay nagpapasalamat kay Sir Albin Cadimas.”
Likewise, Mr. Albin Cadimas acknowledged and expressed appreciation for the initiative of Tropical Village National High School for choosing TVES as its partner in the implementation of Catch Up Together.
This partnership was sealed and made official through signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two school head.
