TVNHS held its Third Quarter School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (SMEA) for School Year 2023-2024 on March 14, 2024, in accordance with D.O. No. 44, Series 2010 and Division Memorandum 461, Series 2020 which was attended by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, selected teaching and non-teaching, personnel, TVHOA Officer, SSLG, LGU and other stakeholders.

TVNHS continues to provide a conducive and safe learning environment to Tropicalian learners through the repair, installation, and beautification of different facilities within the school premises.

Tropical Village National High School continued the Catch-up Together with Tropical Village Elementary School on March 15, 2024. In connection with this, the Mathematics Department, headed by Mrs. Lea P. Amon, facilitated the activity to enhance pupils’ numeracy skills.
Selected grade six students from TVES took a pre-test during the first Catch Up Together in numeracy and played the game Mathok Bola (derived from Batok Bola/Bola). It started with a toss coin to determine who would hit the initial score first. The goal of the game is to hit all the opponent’s players. Each team was given 5 minutes to hit the player. After the given time, players were asked by the facilitators to perform the operation for their team score.
Students showed not only their mental ability but also their physical ability during the game. The students learned Mathematics with fun and enjoyment with the game “Mathok Bola.”
After the game, students were asked to compute their score by performing the fundamental operations in the correct order (MDAS). The green team was declared the winner.
Finally, Mrs. Arlene V. Ferrer asked the students techniques for adding numbers. Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola added the order of fundamental operations (MDAS). Students were asked to generalize what they learned from the activity.

In celebration of the International Day of Mathematics, TVNHS holds a week-long celebration of the Mathematics Festival with the theme “Playing with Math.”
The Mathematics Department, headed by Mrs. Lea P. Amon, OIC-Department Head, and Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher, together with the Math Teachers, conducted different activities for students in grades 7–10.
On March 11, Mrs. Loida C. Badillo, Teacher II, and Mrs. Arlene B. Payaban, Teacher II, facilitated the Human Damath that was played by grade-9 students.
While, on March 12, Ms Arlyn F. Pasa, Teacher II, and Mr. Jose M. Amparo, Teacher III, facilitated the Tumbang Numero played by grade 7 students.
Mrs. Arlene V. Ferrer organized the elimination round for the Mathematics Quiz Bee 2024 in the multi-purpose room. Grade 10 students participated in this activity. And, on March 13, the mathematics department held the final round of the mathematics quiz bee.
Also, grade – 8 learners played ‘Mathok Bola’ derived from Batok Bola/Batong Bola, facilitated by Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher I, and Mrs. Lea P. Amon, OIC-Department Head.
Lastly, Mr. Jose M. Amparo and Mrs. Arlene B. Payaban facilitated the game SODOKU which was participated by interested students in all grade levels.

TVNHS joins and participates in the Division Technolympics 2024 with the theme “Creative and Trade Skills Exhibition: Fostering a Culture of Inclusive Excellence in Technology Education” on March 9 at Gov. Ferrer Memorial Integrated National High School, Sta. Clara.

Ang departamento ng Filipino ng Tropical Village National High School ay patuloy na nakikiisa sa malawakang gawain ng Catch -Up Friday kung saan iba’t ibang gawain may kinalaman sa pagbasa ang patuloy na isinasagawa sa loob man o sa labas ng mga silid-aralan. Ito ay upang matugunan ang hamon ng literacy sa mga batang Tropicalians.

Furthermore, other students and teachers demonstrate Catch-up Friday in their classrooms, and reading corners by engaging in activities and games in addition to reading.

On March 1, Ms. Irene M. Dulay, School BCPC Coordinator, attends the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) monthly meeting at the Barangay San Francisco Hall. The said meeting is led by Brgy. Chairman, Hon. Ryan T. Santor, and the Brgy. Councilors, in which they outline and develop programs and projects for youth ages 17 and below.

On March 1, the English Department facilitates the 3rd Catch Up Together for selected TVES pupils. Hopscotch, widely known as “Piko,” is the game-based activity that the team conducts during the said program.
Catch Up Together is one of the school-based activities under Catch-Up Fridays that aims to develop the literacy and numeracy skills of selected learners. Additionally, it seeks to strengthen the collaborations between TVNHS and TVES.
