TVNHS Conducts Various Activities in Women’s Month

In celebration of National Women’s Month with the theme “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan Patutunayan,” the school conducted different activities for the school personnel, both teaching and non-teaching from March 19-26, 2024.

These activities include zumba, quiz bee for teachers, and wellness. It was planned and organized by Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I/GAD Coordinator, and supervised by the school head, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV.

On March 19–20, the school conducted zumba sessions that were attended by the teachers, non-teaching staff, and the principal. They enjoyed the zumba as it was also a way to exercise and burn calories for a healthier body and well-being. Similarly, other teachers said that it was their way to relieve stress and breathe.

On March 21, the AP department, under the headship of its OIC-Department Head, Mrs. Sonia G. Reyes, administered a quiz for teachers. It was entitled “Henyong Juana Quiz Bee.” This activity was represented by the department heads, Teacher III and Teacher I, from each department.

TLE Department was hailed as the winner, while the EsP Department ranked second and the English Department ranked third in the quiz bee.

Finally, March 26, 2024, the women’s’ month celebration was concluded by massage sessions, manicures and pedicures, and eyebrow grooming that were enjoyed by everyone for free. CSWD General Trias City in cooperation of Banayad Wellness Spa sponsored this event.
