Despite the heat index, TVNHS held its calculator workshop for mathematics and science teachers to give support to teachers in preparation for Matatag Curiiculum, as mentioned by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, in his opening remarks.

TVNHS Mathematics and Science Teachers were really lucky and grateful for the support given by their Education Program Supervisors, Dr. Lynetter P. Rue and Mrs. Maricel P. Malabanan during the workshop.

Dr. Lynette P. Rue inspired Mathematics teachers as she gave recognition for the efforts and accomplishments of teachers as she mentioned that the school is one of the top performing school in Mathematics.

Likewise, Mrs. Maricel P. Malabanan encouraged and motivated the science teachers as she gave her full support in her message. Mr. Thadeus M. Diosa explained the importance of calculator mathematics before he introduced the truly amazing lecturer, Engr. Reynold M. Agustin.

In addition, Engr. Reynold M. Agustin’s accomplishments as a writer of calculator mathematics were really impressive. He became an inspiration for both mathematics and science teachers. He comprehensively discussed the use of calculators in solving mathematics and science problems. He also explained the advantage of using the Calculator KARCE S991, the only calculator that was made by Filipinos and accepted by the PRC.

They patiently assisted and taught the teachers how to use calculators to solve problems during the workshop. The teachers went home with a smile after receiving their free calculator mathematics book, personally signed by the author. The most important thing they brought home was the new knowledge gained after the workshop.
