Tropical Village National High School and Tropical Village Elementary School came together to celebrate the “Musabaqah Culminating Activity and Moving-Up Ceremony” on May 14, 2024, in order to showcase and commemorate Muslim learners’ achievements.
Abdulrhaman C. Macaampao, TVES Asatidz, hosted this event. The program began with the National Anthem led by the Drum and Lyre and Glee Club and a prayer led by Grade 8 General Trias Muslim learner Mahmud A. Bangsa.
Distinguished guests were also present at the said event, such as Daisy Z. Miranda, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, and Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, Asst. Schools Division Superintendent, Laura O. Garcia, Chief, Curriculum Implementation; Yolanda D.C. Lumanog, EPS/AP Division MEP Coordinator; Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS Cluster 8; Brgy. Captain Ryan Tapawan Santor II, SK Chairman Kevin Trinidad, and Brgy. Councilors.
“I am happy on how the Madrasah Education of both schools continue to flourish,” said SDS Miranda.
The Superintendent also mentioned that “the ceremony connects and helps the MATATAG Curriculum…na sa lahat ng paaralan walang batang maiiwan kahit anupaman ang relihiyon at status mo sa buhay “.
During the recognition day, intermission numbers were also performed by TVNHS, TVES learners and Parent Officers which were Quran Reading, Muhadara, Harf Touch, Azan, Pangalay, and Nasheed.
To honor the Muslim learners, they were given Certificates of Completion and Special Awards during their Moving-Up Ceremony.
In this event, TVES pupils’ talents were showcased. They were also given a certificate in recognition for their victories in the Division and Regional Musabaqah earlier this year.
The ceremony ended with a closing remark delivered by Mr. Albin A. Cadimas, Principal IV – TVES and it was followed by a prayer led by Monaim Muhammad, Asatidz.
