Tropicalian learners and teachers kicked off the School Year 2024-2025 with a renewed sense of patriotism during the flag-raising ceremony held earlier today.

Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS-Cluster 8, along with Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, the School Head, provided inspiring words to both students and faculty as they embarked on a new academic year. Their speeches motivated and energized everyone, setting a positive tone for the months ahead.

Prior to the official start of the School Year 2024-2025 on July 29, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, conducted a brief yet comprehensive meeting with school personnel. The meeting was held to provide critical updates and clarifications on several important matters, ensuring a smooth transition into the new school year.

During the session, Dr. Creus discussed key topics including the finalization of students’ and teachers’ schedules, updates on the National Mathematics Program (NMP) and the National Reading Program (NRP), and the overall readiness of classrooms. The meeting also addressed the preparation of lesson plans and other concerns that may impact the upcoming academic year.

The purpose of this meeting was to ensure that all teachers are aligned and fully prepared to meet the needs of students, facilitating an effective and organized start to the school year.

TVNHS successfully hosted the Parents’ Orientation at the TVNHS covered court, bringing together parents of Grade 7, Grade 11, and transferee students.

The event aimed to provide essential information and address questions about the upcoming school year, ensuring that parents are well-informed and ready to support their children’s educational journey.

Key topics covered during the orientation included academic programs, school policies, and the support services available for students.

Additionally, before the orientation began, school supplies donated by Brgy. San Francisco officials were distributed.

Earlier today, Regional Inspectorate Team (RIT) composed of Ms. Luz E. Osmeňa, Chief Education Supervisor; Ms. Buenalyn Manuel, Education Program Supervisor-QAD; Mr. Jeffrie F. Ditablan, Education Program Supervisor; Mr. Edilberto A. Damiles, Jr., Engineer II; along with Dr. Ines L. Inocencio, SGOD-Chief; Mrs. Riza Sanchez, Education Program Supervisor; Ms. Haidi C. Morales, SEPS-Monitoring and Evaluation; Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS-Cluster 8; and Engr. Abhram P. Colocado, Engineer III, inspect the classrooms and check the pertinent documents needed for the school’s Senior High School program.

Earlier today, Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS-Cluster 8, convened a meeting with the school heads of Cluster 8 to discuss important updates and preparations for the upcoming school year 2024-2025.

Present at the meeting were Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV of TVNHS, Mr. Alvin A. Cadimas, Principal IV of SBES, and Ms. Imelda S. Arevalo, Principal II of TVES.

The discussion focused on the readiness of their respective schools for the opening of classes on July 29, including finalizing schedules, ensuring the availability of learning materials, and addressing any challenges.

Abhram P. Colocado, Engineer III, inspects the classrooms and checks the pertinent documents needed for the school’s Senior High School program.

On June 27, the construction workers from NC Rivera Builders begin the demolition of the Remulla building to make way for the construction of a 4-storey, 12-classroom building funded by the Local Government Unit of General Trias City under the leadership of City Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” A. Ferrer IV.
