Tropical Village National High School, under the leadership of Principal IV Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, with the support of Head Teacher III Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher I Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, school MEP coordinator Mr. Jaymark C. Doca, and Ustadz Abdullah Macaampao, Ustadz Monaim Mohammad, and Ustadzah Sherwida Jawali, hosted the Division Madrasah Education Program 3rd Quarterly meeting on August 22 in the Multipurpose Room.
PSDS-Cluster 8 Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato began the meeting by extending a warm welcome to all the attendees, setting a cordial and inviting tone for the event.
Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, proudly presented the participants of the said activity.
Meanwhile, Asst. Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ivan Brian L. Inductivo graced the event with his presence and delivered a deeply inspiring message. In his address, Dr. Inductivo acknowledged the collective efforts of the educators and leaders involved in the Madrasah Education Program (MEP) and emphasized the importance of their work in fostering inclusive and culturally responsive education.
Dr. Yolanda DC. Lumanog, EPS-AP and Division Madrasah Coordinator, followed with an in-depth discussion on the Refined Elementary Madrasah Curriculum and various DepEd orders related to the Madrasah Education Program.
After the successful conclusion of the 3rd Quarter Division MEP meeting, Dr. Yolanda DC. Lumanog, EPS-AP and Division MEP Coordinator, along with the elementary school heads, toured the Madrasah room to observe the school’s best practices.
During the tour, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, the School Head, took the opportunity to present a comprehensive set of MEP documents, showcasing the school’s diligent efforts and adherence to the program’s standards.
Additionally, Ustadz Abdullah Macaampao, an Asatidz, demonstrated some of the Muslim practices to Dr. Yolanda DC. Lumanog and the elementary school heads.
Overall, both the 3rd Quarterly meeting and the benchmarking activity were successful, as the participants were once again oriented on the various DepEd orders that will guide them in the implementation of MEP in their respective schools.
