Selected Grade 10 students took part in the National Youth Science, Technology, and Innovation Festival 2024 an event held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on September 18, 2024.

Last Sept. 20,2024 TVNHS with the collaboration of the Bondservants Organization had a seminar about Raising Awareness on Employees’ Health and Safety in the Workplace. Selected TVNHS teachers attended the seminar, along with some student teachers. Some of the things emphasized in this training are the things that should be done once there are unexpected disasters such as earthquakes, fires and unexpected incidents such as heart attacks, choking, drowning and strokes.

Mathematics department conducted a two-day LAC session about “Sharing Best Practices in the Implementation of the National Mathematics Program” on September 18-19, 2024.

On September 18 to 20, Mrs. Ma. Joy T. Dolindo, Mr. John Lloyd S. Arbonida, alongside Resnan Jade Teves from Grade 9 Magnesium, actively participated in the Division Robotics seminar entitled “ROBOTICS: From Code to Creation – Robotics and Programming Bootcamp for Science Teachers and Students” held at Schools Division Office- Multipurpose Hall.

On Sunday, September 15, 2024, Grade – 8 Topacio’s broken window glasses were replaced by these glass installers. This installation was sponsored by Mrs. Nora O. Castro, HPTA President of the above mentioned section and SPTA Treasurer.

Earlier today, Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS-Cluster 8, assisted by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, monitored the current status of Grade 10 Elective classes.

Earlier today, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, convened a meeting with Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, Mrs. Lina M. Potante, Master Teacher I, Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher I, and Ms. Jennibeth V. Ilagan, Teacher III, to provide technical assistance in crafting and checking the activity and training proposals.

TVNHS Conducts First Quarter SMEA
Tropical Village National High School conducted the First Quarter SMEA or School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment spearheaded by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, last September 06, 2024, at exactly 9:00 in the morning.
The program began with the registration of all participants. Ms. Regine Reforma, OIC-Department Head of TLE and In-charge of the Ceremony welcomed all participants. It was followed by the singing of National Anthem and opening prayer, through an audio-visual presentation.
Mrs. Lina Potante, Master Teacher I, presented the determination of quorum. Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus then gave his opening remarks. It was followed by messages of support from Sangguniang Barangay headed by Brgy. Chairman, Hon. Ryan T. Santor. It was followed by a message of encouragement from Cluster 8’s hardworking and supportive PSDS, Mr. Rogin O. Contemprato.
Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus began the presentation and discussion with a presentation of the school dashboard. Teachers and Project Coordinators discussed the key findings in the following performance indicators: Enrollment status, SARDOs, Muslim Learners, Learners with Disability, SINuLiD STAR , SINuLiD SIKAP, SINuLiD BAck to Square One, Elective Classes, Learning Materials,LAC Plan, Mental Health Check, School Safety and Protection, School Assessment of Facility and Equipment and School Partnership.
Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, together with Head Teachers, stake holders, student-representatives, shared ideas, suggestions and strategic intervention after the presenters discussed the hindering factors under their project or assigned tasks.
First Quarter SMEA for SY 2024-2025 was successful and fruitful engagement. It served as the basis for the improvements of the projects and programs of the school.

TVNHS receives nineteen (19) solar panels generously donated by the City Government of General Trias, under the leadership of City Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” A. Ferrer IV.
This initiative is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and energy efficiency in local schools, while also reducing electricity costs.
The entire school community expresses deep gratitude to the City Government for its unwavering support to our Tropicalian learners.

Earlier today, FO2 Richard Val M. Dagumboy and FO1 Jorge C. Botor of the City Bureau of Fire Protection, assisted by Mr. Isaias Paraiso, School Facilities Coordinator, inspected the current status of the school building and facilities.
This inspection was conducted to ensure that the facility meets safety standards and is well-prepared for school use.

Mrs. Jane B. Dacaymat, School Reading Coordinator, enthusiastically participated in the 3-day Division Rollout Training of Early Language & Literacy focusing on the Science of Reading held on September 5-7, 2024 at Tanza Oasis Hotel.

With the unwavering support of the City Government of Gen. Trias, led by City Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” A. Ferrer IV, City Vice Mayor Jonas Glyn P. Labuguen, City Councilor and Education Committee Chairperson Pafoo V. Lozares, and the City Councilors, along with the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Gen. Trias City, headed by SDS Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda, CESO V, ASDS Dr. Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS-Cluster 8, TVNHS has finally received the City Resolution supporting the implementation of the Senior High School program, particularly the academic track: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM), and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS).
