TVNHS celebrates Teachers’ Appreciation Day with the theme, “Empowering Educator: Strengthening Resilience, Building Sustainability”

In support of Presidential Proclamation No. 242, s. 2011, Republic Act 10743, and the MATATAG agenda, the school conducted a week-long activities in celebration of National Teachers’ Month with the theme, “Empowering Educators: Strenghtening Resilience, Building Sustainability” on September 26-October 4 at different venues, attended by all teaching and teaching-related personnel and students of the school.
The activity started with Zumba, facilitated by Mrs. Dayren B. Bawalan, and Mrs. Sonia G. Reyes participated by TVNHS teachers on September 26, 2024, at TVNHS covered court. Mr. Jaymark C. Doca and Mrs. Lina Potante facilitated the Digital Poster Making Contest held at the ICT room in the morning on September 30, 2024. In addition, Ms. Irene M. Dulay and Mrs. Angelita P. Allarey facilitated the Sulat-Bigkas Tula in the afternoon at the TVNHS library.
An online voting for the Search for Matatag Teacher was also conducted from September 26 – October 1, 2024 facilitated by Mr. Samuel D. Poblete and Mrs. Arlene V. Ferrer. In addition, Mrs. Arlene V. Ferrer and Mr. Samuel G. Poblete facilitated the elimination round of Teacher ko, Idol Ko: Kalook A Like Contest on October 1, 2024 at TVNHS Science Laboratory room.
Teacher’s Appreciation closing program was conducted after different activities on October 4, 2024 TVNHS covered court.
Winners were given certificate and token during the program. For the main event “Teacher Ko, Idol Ko: Kalook A Like Contest”, Mr. Jerwin M. Aguilar bagged the first place followed by Elmar B. Inyong and Ms. Julliana Kim Diocton for the second and third place.
On the other hand, Mrs. Amorcita P. Endaya was awarded first place for the Search for Matatag Teachers followed by Mrs. Lynn T. Dimacali and Mr. Jose M. Amparo.
The program concluded successfully ended at 12:00 nn.
