TVNHS conducted a Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment for all Tropicalian learners to evaluate their nutritional status, headed by Mrs. Lea P. Amon, Head Teacher I, with the assistance of the school’s Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC).

Earlier today, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus convened a meeting with Head Teachers, Master Teachers, OIC-Department Heads, Administrative Assistants, and Project Proponents and Coordinators to discuss various school matters, including the SY 2025–2026 Literacy and Numeracy data, teachers’ load, School-Based Feeding Program, Deworming and Immunization, SPTA Election, AIP budget allocation, Priority Improvement Areas in preparation for the School Improvement Plan, and other important concerns.

On June 25, Mr. Isaias R. Paraiso Jr., Head Teacher I, assisted representatives from the City Assessor’s Office of General Trias during their visit, which was part of the preparatory steps for the School Site Tax Declaration, an initiative made possible through the support of City Mayor Luis A. Ferrer IV.

Mr. Isaias R. Paraiso Jr., Head Teacher I and SDRRM Coordinator, emphasized the importance of emergency preparedness and explained the essential items in a Go Bag for use during earthquakes and other emergencies.

Tropicalian Grade 7 learners received insect repellent (Off lotion) from Brgy. San Francisco through the efforts of the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA).

On June 17, Ms. Avelina R. Flores, COA State Auditor III, and Ms. Eugene B. Fadri, COA State Auditor II, with the assistance of Mrs. Rosemina I. Sta. Maria, Disbursing Officer II, and Mrs. Sharon D. Suhot, Senior Bookkeeper, conducted a cash examination of the school for the period covering August 2024 to June 2025.

Calubag, Senior Education Program Specialist for Planning and Research, was assisted by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, in monitoring and evaluating the school’s readiness for the opening of classes.

Tropical Village National High School Successfully Conducts Parents’ Orientation for Grade 7, Grade 11, and Transferees

TVNHS warmly welcomed parents of incoming Grade 7, Grade 11, and transferees during the Parents’ Orientation held earlier today.

The activity provided valuable information to guide parents in supporting their children’s education throughout the school year.

The event commenced with the registration facilitated by Teacher II, Ms. Arlyn Pasa, followed by an audiovisual presentation of the National Anthem and the opening prayer.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, officially welcomed the participants, setting a positive and collaborative tone for the event. He also discussed some of the important concerns such as the implementation of STE for incoming Grade 7, Open High School Program.

An overview of the school’s achievements, programs, and goals was presented through an audiovisual State of the School Address, followed by the introduction of school personnel.

Teacher III, Ms. Jane B. Dacaymat, acknowledged the presence of the Grade 7 parents, while Teacher III, Ms. Sonia D. Reyes, recognized the parents of transferee and Grade 11 students.

Key academic information was provided by the Curriculum Chairperson, who discussed the class program and schedule. The grading system for Grade 7 students was explained by Master Teacher I, Ms. Jennibeth V. Ilagan, while Teacher III, Ms. Irene M. Dulay, presented the grading system for Grades 11-12. The importance of school rules and policies was thoroughly discussed by Teacher III, Ms. Angelita P. Allarey, through the orientation on the Student’s Handbook.

Head Teacher I, Mr. Isaias R. Paraiso Jr., emphasized the importance of disaster preparedness and family safety through his session on Earthquake and Family Preparedness.

An open forum was facilitated by Head Teacher I, Ms. Regine C. Reforma, allowing parents to raise their concerns and seek clarifications on various school matters.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Head Teacher I, Ms. Susan C. Sibulo, who thanked the parents for their attendance and encouraged continuous collaboration for the benefit of the students.

The successful conduct of the Parents’ Orientation highlighted TVNHS’s commitment to fostering an informed, prepared, and actively involved school community.

Earlier today, TVNHS conducted a seminar on Capacity Building for Gender-Responsive Committee Performances and Services aligned with the school’s Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) for S.Y. 2025–2026, with Atty. Aaron Anthony S. Labordo, Division Legal Officer, as the resource speaker.

Earlier today, Mrs. Arlene M. Hernandez, PSDS of Cluster 9, assisted by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, monitored the enrollment process and the first day of Brigada Eskwela, ensuring that procedures were properly followed and that safety protocols were observed throughout the activities.

In preparation for the opening of classes for SY 2025-2026, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, leads a meeting with Head Teachers, Master Teachers, and OIC Department Heads to discuss critical matters, including students’ and teachers’ workloads, elective subject offerings, and other urgent concerns that require prompt action.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, convenes a meeting with the School Planning Team to discuss the school’s priority improvement areas in preparation for the development of the School Improvement Plan for SY 2025–2028.

Among the concerns discussed were the safety and security of learners, literacy and numeracy, SARDOs, Curriculum Delivery such as Special Science Class, Open High School Program, and the Senior High School.

Batch 1 of Tropicalian Grade 8 teachers successfully completed the three-day Division Training of Teachers on the Revised K to 12 Curriculum Implementation – Phase 2, held from June 3 to 5 at Centennial Academy of the Blessed Trinity.

Panes, SPTA President, SSLG officers, and Tropicalian teachers, received a Certification as a Healthy Learning Institution and a Plaque of Commemoration for being a Healthy School, along with medical supplies from the Department of Health (DOH).
