Earlier today, Tropicalian learners under the Special Needs Education (SNED) program displayed their costumes and enjoyed the ‘Fruits and Vegetables Parade’ held at the school covered court in celebration of the 51st Nutrition Month. This activity promotes equal access to health awareness, encourages participation regardless of ability, and fosters a nurturing environment that supports a nutritious lifestyle.

On July 29, TVNHS actively participated in the Cluster 9 Nutrition Month Celebration with the theme “Sa PPAN Sama-Sama Para sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat,” spearheaded by Mrs. Arlene M. Hernandez, PSDS of Cluster 9, and supported by all Cluster 9 school heads. Selected Tropicalian learners, together with their TLE teachers, showcased their talents and enthusiasm in various cluster-based contests such as Poster Making, Nutri Jingle, Essay Writing, Spoken Poetry, Nutri Infographics Design, Quiz Bee, and Cook Fest.
TVNHS was hailed as the Overall First Place, bagging the following awards:
• 1st Place in Essay Writing and Poster Making
• 2nd Place in Cook Fest
• 3rd Place in Nutri Infographics Design

TVNHS Mathematics Department, headed by Lea P. Amon, Head Teacher I, and led by Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher II, and Arlene B. Payaban, Teacher II, as activity proponents, conducted an online Learning Action Cell (LAC) session entitled “Seminar-Workshop in Developing Learning Materials for Geometry (Mathematics 7 for STE)” on July 18, 2025.
Among the topics thoroughly tackled by Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher II, were the following: technical specifications for learning resource development, parts of the lesson exemplar, and learners’ worksheet.

Earlier today, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, conducted an online collaborative meeting with Head Teachers, Master Teachers, OIC-Department Heads, and Project Coordinators to review relevant data and complete the School Improvement Plan (SIP) for SY 2025–2028.

On July 16, Dr. Rizal M. Vidallo, Education Program Supervisor in EsP/ALS, oversaw the conduct of the Program Implementation Review and Assessment of Cluster 9 in relation to curriculum delivery and also monitored the implementation of the EsP and Values Education curriculum.

Special Curricular Program in Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) and Open High School Program (OHSP) underwent Regional Validation to assess compliance with standards and ensure program quality.
TVNHS welcomed the Regional Inspectorate Team, Mr. Reymund M. Ferry from the Quality Assurance Division and Mr. Paul Gence L. Ocampo from the Curriculum and Learning Management Division, together with the Division Validation Team for the validation of school facilities and documents related to the Special Curricular Program in Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) and the Open High School Program (OHSP). As a result, the school is recommended to implement both programs for School Year 2025–2026.

Earlier today, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, and Mr. Isaias R. Paraiso Jr., School Facility Coordinator, assisted Engr. Abhram P. Colocado, Division Engineer III, and Engr. Kyer Martinez, Project Development Officer II of DPWH–Cavite First, in conducting a classroom inspection related to the rehabilitation of the school clinic under the DepEd Basic Education Facilities Fund (BEFF) – Priority School Health Facilities program.

Selected Tropicalian teachers joyfully participated in the “Biggest Loser: Teacher’s Edition” weigh-in, held as part of the Nutrition Month celebration. This friendly competition aims to promote weight loss, healthy eating habits, and overall wellness among faculty members.
Participants’ progress will be monitored through a scheduled weigh-in in March 2026, with recognition awarded to those who show the most significant improvement.

TVNHS Strengthens Commitment to Inclusive Education for the Deaf
School Head Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, along with IE Focal Person, Mrs. Angelita P. Allarey, participated in the Filipino Sign Language orientation held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Multipurpose Hall of the Schools Division Office of General Trias City.
Former Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda thoroughly discussed the key provisions of Republic Act No. 11106, also known as the Filipino Sign Language Act, which officially recognizes FSL as the national sign language of the Filipino Deaf and mandates its use in government transactions involving the Deaf community.
Additionally, Special Education Teachers came together to promote deaf awareness, support inclusive practices, and empower educators with the tools needed to serve deaf learners more effectively.
The successful FSL orientation is expected to foster a more inclusive education system, particularly benefiting the participating schools.

In line with PD No.174 s. 1974, DepEd Order No.28 s. 2018 , DepEd Memorandum No. 128 s.2016 and DepEd Memorandum No. 80, s.2015, Tropical Village National High School conducted a one-day orientation on deworming entitled “Protecting Every Child: The Power of Immunization and Deworming” on July 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm participated by the parents, selected teaching and non-teaching personnel, SPTA Officers and SSLG Officers of Tropical Village National High School.
The objectives of the activity are as follows: raise awareness on the benefits of immunization and deworming among students and parents; enhance the overall health and well-being of learners; promote a healthy, safe, and supportive learning environment; and strengthen collaboration with parents and guardians in advocating for immunization and deworming initiatives.
