The 10th Moving-Up Ceremony of Tropical Village National High School (TVNHS) was held on April 14, 2025, at the school’s covered court, with the theme, “Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay sa Bagong Pilipinas.” The event was a celebration of academic milestones, unity, and hope as the school honored its Grade 10 completers for School Year 2024–2025.
The program began promptly at 7:30 in the morning with a solemn processional. The proud movers, accompanied by their Grade 10 advisers, the teaching and non-teaching staff, the school head, and distinguished guests, marched into the venue to the delight of their families and peers. This formal entrance set the tone for a meaningful and memorable celebration.
Following the processional was the Entrance of Colors, performed with precision and dignity by selected Grade 8 and 9 students. Their discipline and coordination added a ceremonial grace to the morning’s proceedings.
Mrs. Teresita M. Luseco, Teacher III, then led the singing of the National Anthem, proudly accompanied by the TVNHS Drum and Lyre Band and the school’s Glee Club, creating a spirited and patriotic atmosphere. This was followed by a prayer led by selected Grade 10 learners, inviting a moment of reflection and gratitude.
The crowd then joined in singing the General Trias Hymn, conducted by MAPEH teacher Ms. Carmina V. Lisondra, with musical accompaniment once again provided by the Glee Club and Drum and Lyre Band, showcasing the students’ musical talents and school pride.
A heartfelt welcome address was delivered by Aaliyah Mai P. Penpeña, a Grade 10 completer from 10-Aphrodite, who graduated With High Honors. Her speech warmly greeted guests and fellow students while encouraging her peers to remain united and hopeful as they face the next chapter of their academic journey.
A key moment in the program was the presentation of the completers by the Principal IV of TVNHS, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, who expressed pride in the accomplishments of the Grade 10 students. This was followed by the validation and verification of the completers by Mrs. Arlene M. Hernandez,
