On March 21, 2025, the much-anticipated launch of Tropicalian Youthpreneur Season 2 took place with a vibrant and engaging opening ceremony that set the tone for an exciting season of innovation, skill-building, and entrepreneurial exploration.
The event began with a solemn yet inspiring National Anthem and prayer, which was presented through an Audiovisual Presentation (AVP).
The formal presentation of the participants was carried out by Mrs. Rosemarie T. Gayas, Teacher I. Her warm and enthusiastic introduction allowed the attendees to get to know the participants, who represent the bright and innovative minds that will lead the way in this year’s Youthpreneur program.
Following the presentation, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, the Principal IV, delivered the opening remarks. Dr. Creus spoke passionately about the importance of nurturing young entrepreneurs, especially in today’s ever-evolving world. He emphasized that Tropicalian Youthpreneur is not just a platform to showcase business ideas, but a movement that encourages the youth to think creatively, develop skills, and foster a mindset geared towards sustainable innovation. His words were filled with optimism, highlighting the potential of each participant to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
The event continued with Ms. Irene M. Dulay, Teacher III, who took the stage to present the statement of purpose for Tropicalian Youthpreneur Season 2. Ms. Dulay eloquently discussed the objectives of the program, stressing that it aims to empower students with the necessary skills, competencies, and entrepreneurial spirit to thrive in an increasingly competitive world. She elaborated on how the program intends to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration among the participants, and all essential traits of successful entrepreneurs.As the ceremony continued, the audience was treated to a lively fashion show featuring sleepwear, corporate attire, and elegant gowns—all designed and created by Grade 9 and 10 dressmaking students. The students’ creativity and craftsmanship were on full display as they showcased their designs, proving that talent and innovation can be nurtured at a young age.
The program also featured a dynamic Korean dance intermission, adding a cultural touch to the festivities. This was followed by a captivating Muslim song performance by the Arabic Language Elective students, celebrating the diverse talents within the community and highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the students.
The highlight of the event came with the awarding of certificates, recognizing the hard work and achievements of the participants. Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus led the ceremony, assisted by Ms. Regine C. Reforma, Head Teacher I, Ms. Irene Dulay and with all dedicated TLE, SHS and Elective Teachers. The awards were a testament to the students’ dedication, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
The program was expertly hosted by John Philip Nagum and Ma. Leizel Jane Limco, who kept the audience engaged and entertained throughout the event. Their lively hosting added a personal touch, making the ceremony even more memorable.
After the program, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy a delightful array of dishes and drinks, prepared by the TLE and Elective students. The culinary offerings added to the festive atmosphere and allowed everyone to sample the talents of the students in the kitchen.
Students, teachers, and parents were invited to avail themselves of the services provided by the Beauty and Nail Care students. Many enjoyed relaxing foot spas, manicures, pedicures, and massages, providing a perfect opportunity for attendees to unwind and pamper themselves after the program.
