November 14

Tropical Village National High School conducted a week-long Film Viewing Activity from November 10–17 at the TVNHS Audio-Visual Room. The activity was facilitated by the English Department, headed by Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I.

To ensure an organized and meaningful experience, each grade level was scheduled for a specific viewing day, allowing learners to fully engage with the films and participate in guided discussions. The initiative aimed to enhance students’ visual literacy, critical thinking, and appreciation for educational and inspirational films. Throughout the week, learners reflected on the themes and lessons presented, making the activity both enriching and enjoyable for all.

On November 14, TVNHS spearheaded an eye check-up for ten (10) selected Tropicalian learners with poor eyesight, conducted under the Program Support Fund at Radiant Eye Optical Clinic in Salawag, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, ensuring their vision needs were properly assessed to support both their learning and overall well-being.

On November 14, selected Tropicalian learners under the School-Based Feeding Program enjoyed a healthy meal, generously sponsored by the School-Parent Teacher Association (SPTA), led by Mrs. Geraldine Sarion, SPTA President.

On November 14, thirty (30) HUMSS Grade 11 students observed the San Francisco Barangay Council Regular Session, which included the final reading of barangay ordinances and the presentation of new agenda.

This activity, conducted under the guidance of Ms. Irene Dulay, SHS Faculty, is part of their HUMSS subject Philippine Politics and Governance and provides learners with firsthand exposure to how local officials deliberate, craft, and implement community policies.

On November 14, the Senior High School (SHS) Department held a coordination meeting to discuss key issues and concerns regarding learners as they conclude the 1st semester, along with other important matters.

On November 14, in the wake of the recent typhoon and following the 2nd Quarterly Exams, the Tropicalians gathered for a solemn flag retreat, demonstrating unity, resilience, and strength as a school community.

Mr. Isaias R. Paraiso Jr., Head Teacher I and School Facilities Coordinator, assists Mr. Adriel R. Guyamin and Mr. Joemarie S. Culapan from the City Engineering Office in relation to the repair and rehabilitation of the ICT laboratory.

The School FB Page Technical Team conducted a one-day Training-Workshop on Photo Taking, Captioning, and Layouting for Effective School Documentation earlier today, November 12.

Mr. Jeffrey M. Rodil, Teacher III, and Mrs. Leizl P. Lorica, Teacher II, shared their expertise in photo taking, caption writing, and layout design.

Participants gained valuable knowledge and skills that they can apply in creating engaging and well-documented school FB postings and updates.

The activity also served as an opportunity to share important announcements and recognize learners for their outstanding performance in the Cluster 9 Sports Meet 2025 and other academic competitions, setting a positive start for a productive week ahead.

Creus, Principal IV, held a coordination meeting with the Head Teachers and Administrative Assistants to discuss key agendas, including the GAD Seminar, SHS 2nd Semester, DESSA participants, 3rd Quarter SPIRPA, Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC), classroom observation, upcoming school activities, and other important matters.

Selected TVNHS teachers actively participated in the two-day Division Training on “Bridging Learning Gaps: An Evaluation of the Implementation and Resources of Catch-Up Fridays”, held at The Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias City, from November 7 to 8, 2025.

Mrs. Jane B. Dacaymat, Teacher III and Reading Coordinator, attended the three-day Division Reorientation on the Administration of the Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (PHIL-IRI) cum Capacity Building on Aligning Assessment Results with Intervention, held at Fynn Boutique Hotel, Aguinaldo Highway, Bacoor, Cavite, from November 5 to 7, 2025.

Tropicalians utilized the Supporting Parents, Learners, Administrators, and Teachers (SPLAT) on the first day of their Second Quarter Examination, ensuring an organized, efficient, and technology-driven assessment process.

Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher II, attended and actively participated in the two-day seminar on the Conduct of Research Management Guidelines (RMG) cum Revisiting Research Quality Control Checklist (QCC) held at Lime Resort and Hotel Manila from November 3–4, 2025.

This seminar was initiated and supervised by the top management of the Schools Division Office (SDO) of General Trias City, under the headship of Dr. Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent.

Earlier today, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, convened a coordination meeting with the Head Teachers to discuss key agendas, including the Cluster Meet, 3rd Quarter SPIRPA, Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC), Classroom Observation, Expanded Career Progression (ECP) Toolkit, and other important matters.

Earlier today, TVNHS welcomed the month of November with its regular flag-raising ceremony, fostering unity and patriotism among students, teachers, and staff. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the school community’s shared commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and community spirit.
