With outstanding support from different stakeholders, Tropical Village National High School officially commenced the National Maintenance Week known as Brigada Eskwela 2023 with the theme “Bayanihan para sa MATATAG na Paaralan” on August 14.
“BRIGADAHAN 2023,” which aims to prepare the school for the opening of classes, make it conducive and a child-friendly school for its learners, seek support and assistance from different stakeholders, especially parents, local government units, and other private individuals, as well as aspire to build and strengthen partnerships among the school’s clientele, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, with the assistance of Mr. Reydentor Jr. Panganiban BE Coordinator, Mrs. Dayren B. Bawalan, ASP Asst. Coordinator, and Ms. Irene M. Dulay, BE Asst. Coordinator, prepared fun and engaging activities during the kick-off.
The school-based kick-off began with a parade that was attended by various stakeholders, followed by Zumba led by Amadeo Zumba dancers.
Moreover, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, gave his welcome remarks by stating the main objective of the said maintenance week.
Also, the participants witnessed an audiovisual presentation of the one-week activities for Brigada Eskwela 2023.
Also, messages of support from SPTA President, Mrs. Renalyn B. Logon and Brgy. Chairman, Hon. Eddie Umali, were heard and applauded by the attendees of the kick-off.
In addition, led by Dr. Mark Airon P. Crues, School Head, together with OIC Department Heads, and representatives from different organizations, they officially marked the beginning of the Brigada Eskwela 2023 by unveiling the Brigada Eskwela tarpaulin and signing the pledge of commitment.
Several intermissions and special numbers from Tropicalian learners made the event interesting and engaging.
Finally, as the opening program came to an end, the participants proceeded to their designated areas and began the “Bayanihan” spirit.
