This event would not have been possible without the efforts of Mrs. Jaqueline D. Leaban, Ms. Marielle Cassandra C. Lopez, SM Marketing Manager, and Editha Ragodo-Tayko, SM Mall Manager.

The TVNHS badminton girls doubles smashed hard to win the game. They are Graciela Latoja, Grade – 10 Zeus and Jerry Marie S. Espiritu, Grade – 10 Apollo. They underwent a series of games but made it to bronze (3rd place) at the City Sports Complex. They did this with the assistance and guidance of their coach, Ms. Mercy P. Ronquillo, a MAPEH teacher, and with the supervision of Mr. Reynaldo A. Colima, OIC-Department Head-MAPEH, and Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV.
Moreover, the awarding was done after the tournament at the abovementioned venue on January 27, 2024.

Tropicalian chess masters made their journey to bronze. They are Xyrinne Aesah T. Cerillo, Grade – 7 Patriotic and John Carlo D. Capacio, Grade – 9 Chromium. The two athletes showcased great moves and tactics as they made their way to 3rd place in the chess tournament during the City Meet 2024 held in the Infotel Building in General Trias City Sports Park. They did this with the assistance and guidance of their coach, Mrs. Jacqueline D. Leaban, a TLE teacher, and with the supervision of Mr. Reynaldo A. Colima, OIC-Department Head-MAPEH, and Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV.
Moreover, the awarding was done after the tournament in the abovementioned venue on January 26, 2024.

City Meet 2024 Officially Opens
The City meet 2024 was officially opened and was led by the top management of SDO General Trias City, headed by SDS Daisy Z. Miranda, CESO V, and ASDS Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
This event was supported by City Mayor Luis Jon-Jon A. Ferrer IV, Vice Mayor Jonas Glynn P. Labuguen, and all of the city councilors who were present during the opening program held at the City Sports Park, Brgy. Santiago, Gen. Trias City. Most of them, especially the mayor and vice mayor, expressed their full support for the sports meet.
The program began with the entrance of the delegates from 10 clusters in public schools and 5 clusters in private schools in Gen. Trias. It was followed by the parade of majorettes and drum and lyre bands, including TVNHS majorettes and drum and lyre band.
Delegates from Cluster 8 headed by PSDS Rogin O. Contemprato, together with Mr. Arnaldo O. Estareja, EPS-Filipino, principals, and athletes, joined the parade at the opening of City Meet at Gen. Trias City Sports Park.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, checked and monitored korean language class under the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) to selected Grades 9 and 10 students at the multi-purpose room on January 15, 2024.

TVNHS continues to run the Catch-Up Friday Program with Grade 7 students serving as the major participants in various events held at the TVNHS covered court which were facilitated by the English and Mathematics Departments. Reading classes and storytelling activities are also held in the Reading Corners of Grades 7 to 10.

TVNHS holds Arabic Language class to selected grade 10 learners.
The Arabic language class is facilitated by the school’s Asatidz, Abdullah Macaampao, and Sherwida Jawali. The said foreign language class that started November 6, 2023 is made possible through the initiative of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, and the support of Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda, Schools Division Superintendent of General Trias City.

On January 11-12, 2024, Cavite State University -Main Campus Practice Teachers during the post-observation conference. Sir Rufriel M. Mesa, Cavite State University Laboratory Science High School Principal, Sir Alvin V. Obniala, TED Instructor, Ma’am Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, Ma’am Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, OIC-Head of different learning areas, as well as their cooperating teachers, offer technical assistance regarding the areas of strength and improvement.

On January 10, 2024 ,Cavite State University (Trece Campus) English Practice Teachers during the post-observation conference. Their professors Ma’am Vienna MI A. Feranil, Student Teaching Coordinator and Ma’am Charise Mae D. Galve, Department Chairperson, TED, together with Ma’am Susan C. Sibulo, TVNHS Head Teacher I, and their Cooperating Teachers provide technical assistance on the strengths and weaknesses , as well as suggestions for improvement. Furthermore, CvSU-Trece Practice Teachers put their skills, ingenuity, and resourcefulness to the test during their final demonstration teaching.

On January 10, 2024, Mrs. Maricel P. Malabanan, EPS in Science, together with Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS of Cluster 8, conducted a monitoring and gave technical assistance to the Science and Technology Department. They also monitored the status of classroom observations of science teachers. Additionally, they also provided technical assistance on the preparation of documentary requirements for the establishment of STEM classes.
