In preparation for the construction of a 4-storey, 12-classroom building that the Local Government Unit of General Trias City will fund, City Engr. Paul Laurel, NC Rivera Builders, assisted by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head, and Mr. Isaias R. Paraiso Jr., School Facility Coordinator, conducted an inspection of the Remulla building on May 29.

Attended by distinguished guests namely CID Chief, Dr. Laura Garcia, PSDS Cluster 8, Dr. Rogin Contemprato, City Councilor, Hon. Alfredo Ching, Gen Tri Education Consultant, Mrs. Rowena Demotica, Brgy. San Francisco SK Chairperson, Hon. Kevin Andrei Trinidad, Guest Speaker, P2Lt. Rev. Mark Joel C. Sibulo, and proud parents of the 294 grade 10 completers who successfully met all the necessary requirements required by DepEd under the K to 12 curriculum received their certificate of completion.

CID Chief Dr. Laura Garcia, PSDS Cluster 8, Dr. Rogin Contemprato and Principal IV, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, led the presentation, certification, and confirmation of the completers.

In addition, P2Lt. Rev. Mark Joel C. Sibulo inspired all the attendees with his simple yet meaningful message.

Earlier today, assisted by Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, and Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, SDO Engineer III, Engr. Abhram P. Colocado, and the personnel from the Maxim Cooperative officers inspected the school comfort rooms to be renovated.

The said renovation is part of a joint project between SDO General Trias City, Gen. Trias LGU, and the Maxim Cooperative, funded by the Community Development Fund (CDF).

On May 24, Mr. Roel Cyrus Magpantay, Khan Academy verifier, Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS-Cluster 8, Ms. Josenia S. Hernando, PSDS-Cluster 2, Ms. Leah Anne A. Misenas, SEPS-SocMob, monitored the school’s readiness for Khan in terms of laptops, tablets and internet connection.

On May 23, SDO Engr. III, Abhram P. Colocado, Admin officer IV- Supply, Ms. Heizel C. Almanon, and her staff, Mr. Janrich Danielle Nocon conducted National School Building Inventory (NSBI) validation.

The NSBI validation team checked and monitored the status and condition of the building and facilities of the school.

On May 22, 2024, during the deliberation of honors, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, congratulated the parents of the grade 10 honor students and encouraged them to support their children as they begin on their next academic adventure.

Earlier today, TVNHS conducted parents’ orientation on the National Learning Camp (NLC) 2024 at the TVNHS covered court.

Selected Tropicalian learners attended the “Fire Safety Seminar and Drill” that Tropical Village National High School, in collaboration with the Federation Parent Teachers Association (FPTA), conducted on May 22, 2024, at the TVNHS Covered Court.
The goals of the event were as follows: enhance the knowledge of students about preventing fire incidents so that students can also understand the importance of fire prevention, and instill the importance of unity.
F01 Neil D. Bercasio of BFP-Gen. Trias City shared his extensive knowledge about preventing fire, avoiding flame, and using fire extinguishers properly.

On May 22, TVNHS conducted a one-day school-based orientation of National Learning Camp (NLC) volunteers.
The orientation’s goal was to equip NLC volunteers with proper guidelines, a new set of techniques, and strategies for how volunteers would make the learning fun.
CID Chief, Ms. Laura O. Garcia,SEPS-Monitoring and Evaluation, Ms. Haidi M. Morales, and PSDS-Cluster 8, Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, graced the orientation. They delivered their support and congratulatory message to the school.

In preparation for the upcoming Moving-Up Ceremony on May 30, 2024, TVNHS convenes Grade 10 parents’ meeting to address concerns on school forms/credentials to be completed, Moving-Up Program and Moving-Up Pictorial on May 20, 2024 at TVNHS covered court.

Tropical Village National High School, under the leadership of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, with the support of Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, OIC-Department Heads of Mathematics and Filipino, and all teachers in English, Filipino, and Mathematics, held a culminating activity that highlighted the different games in literacy and numeracy and recognized the progress of the learners in the three learning areas.

This event was attended by selected pupils from Tropical Village Elementary School and Tapia Elementary School. Also, Mr. Bienvenido C. Ferrer Jr., PSDS-Cluster 4, Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, PSDS-Cluster 8, Mr. Nelson H. Corpuz, Head Teacher I, Tapia ES, Mr. Albin A. Cadimas, Principal IV-TVES, and Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV-TVNHS, Hon. Dennis L. Magsino, Chair, Committee on Education—Barangay San Francisco, TVNHS teachers, and Reading Coordinator, and Master Teachers from TVES attended the said activity.

To ensure safety and a hazard-free learning environment, Brgy. Captain Ryan T. Santor alloted funds and sent personnel to cut down the trees situated at the school’s covered court, as well as the tree behind Remulla Bldg on May 16.

On May 15, LGU Gen Tri represented by Hon. Claire M. Campaña, SDO personnel led by Dr. Ines L. Inocencio, SGOD chief, Ms. Leah Anne A. Misenas, SEPS-SocMob, Engr. III, Mr. Abhram Colocado, and the Maxim Cooperative officers conducted ocular visit at the school for the possible joint project on renovation of comfort rooms.

Earlier today, selected students from Grade 7 and Grade 10 used Supporting Parents, Learners, Administrators and Teachers (SPLAT) answer sheets during the fourth periodical examinations.

Earlier today, Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, and Mrs. Janica T. Mendoza, School Property Custodian, received the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP) Package from the DepEd Central Office. The package consists of 46 laptops, 46 headsets, 46 wireless mouse and mouse pads, 46 laptop bags, 1 smart TV, 2 PIXTRO charging carts, 2 TP-link routers, 1 TV mounting kit, and 1 USB.

The DCP or the DepEd Computerization Program aims to provide public schools with appropriate technologies that would enhance the teaching-learning process and meet the challenges of the 21st century.

TVNHS-Mathematics Department Continues ‘Catch Up Together’

TVNHS, through the Mathematics Department, continued to bring fun-filled and educational Catch Up Together activities on Catch-Up Friday to selected pupils of Tapia Elementary School on May 10, 2024.

With the goal of enhancing the numeracy skills of selected Tapia Elementary School pupils, the Mathematics Department, led by Mrs. Lea P. Amon, OIC-Department Head, facilitated the Catch Up Together.

TVNHS through the LG COMEA under the guidance of Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, and Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, conducted the canvassing, tabulation and proclamation of the newly elected SSLG officers.

TVNHS, through SSLG, under the guidance of Mr. Samuel D. Poblete, SSLG adviser, and Mr. Jose M. Amparo, SSLG co-adviser, held the 2-day SSLG automated election in 2024.

All Tropicalian learners had the opportunity to cast their votes for the aspiring candidates from the HIRAYA and ALAB parties who they believed would support them and act as change agents.

On May 9, the Learner Government Commission on Automated Election (LG COMEA), composed of Mr. Samuel D. Poblete, SSLG adviser, Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, Master Teacher I, Mrs. Lina M. Potante, Master Teacher I, Mrs. Sonia G. Reyes, OIC-Head-AP, Mrs. Angelita P. Allarey, OIC-Head-ESP, Ms. Irene M. Dulay, Teacher III, and Mr. Jeffrey M. Rodil, Teacher III, closely observed and monitored the partial result of the SSLG automated election.

TVNHS-Mathematics Department Continues Catch Up Together on Catch-up Friday at Tapia Elementary School

TVNHS through the mathematics department, under the leadership of Mrs. Lea P. Amon, OIC-Department Head, carried on with Catch-up Up Together Activities on Catch-up Friday on May 3, 2024.

The students enjoyed playing games like ‘Tumbang Numero, derived from the game ‘Tumbang Preso’ and Giant Damath. It was facilitated by Math teachers and assisted by Field Study (FS) students from Cavite State University – Main Campus.

Selected Grade 9 and 10 students attended the K-Culture class with Instructor Jovie Olayon featuring Korean Cuisine. She discussed some of the traditional Korean food and the ingredients used in making Kimchi, Bulgogi, Japchae, Samgyeopsal, Tteokbokki, Bibimbap and other Korean food earlier today at Multipurpose Room.

TVNHS through Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) led by Mr. Samuel D. Poblete, SSLG adviser, Mr. Jose M. Amparo, SSLG co-adviser and the outgoing SSLG officers held the announcement and orientation of the official SSLG candidates.

The said activity was supervised and monitored by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, and Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I.
