Tropical Village National High School, led by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, and supported by Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, and Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, along with its dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, successfully inaugurated the National Learning Camp 2024 with an opening program held at the school’s covered court on July 2.
The program commenced with the rendition of the National Anthem, led by the TVNHS Drum and Lyre under the guidance of Mrs. Eva S. Arguelles, Science Teacher. An ecumenical prayer followed through an audiovisual presentation. The atmosphere was further energized by a captivating performance from the TVNHS Drum and Lyre band, delighting both guests and campers.
Dr. Mark P. Creus, Principal IV, extended a warm welcome to all guests and campers during his opening remarks. Following his address, camp masters Ms. Regine C. Reforma, Mrs. Lynn T. Dimacali, and Ms. Jennibeth V. Ilagan rallied the campers with spirited cheers.
Additionally, inspirational messages were delivered by distinguished guests, including Dr. Ines L. Inocencio, SGOD Chief, and Mr. Lowiesito O. Erni, Regional Education Program Supervisor-MAPEH, addressing an audience of 283 campers.
Meanwhile, the ceremonial opening of the TVNHS National Learning Camp was officiated by SGOD Chief Dr. Ines L. Inocencio, along with Regional EPS-MAPEH Mr. Lowiesito O. Erni, EPS-Learning Resource Ms. Ma. Criscel R. Negosa, SEPS-Monitoring and Evaluation Ms. Haidi M. Morales, PSDS-Cluster 8 Dr. Rogin O. Contemprato, Principal IV Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, and NLC teachers.
Ellezandra Rhian C. Macanip, SSLG President, led the Pledge of Commitment.
Later in the program, the campers witnessed the symbolic pledge of commitment by the honored guests.
Before concluding the program, Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, shared her closing remarks, challenging the campers to let their stars shine brightly throughout the three-week learning camp.
