SDO General Trias launched Children’s Congress 2022 with the theme of “Kalusugan, Kaisipan, Kapakanan, ng bawat Bata ating Tutukan” celebrating National Children’s Month on December 2, 2022.
Head Teacher III, Mr. Patricio H. Cruzada, Guidance advocate, Mrs. Angelita Allarey, SPTA Vice President Mrs. Policarpio, and SSG President, Jessica Peñaflor participated in this event.
One of the purposes of this event is for community stakeholders to engage in support in the promotion of ensuring safe motivating and child-learning environments in the community.
Likewise, invited speakers discussed different topics connected to child’s rights. They presented data and statistics of different child cases such as bullying, the right process of submitting a reported case, and suggested programs that can be implemented in the school.
In addition, the event was also conducted to recognize the winners of the National Children’s Month competition which the school bagged two major awards, Champion in Infomercial and 2nd Place winner in Advocacy Video.
