On June 26, the Regional and Division Monitoring Team for the National Learning Camp Assessment Monitoring Team, led by Mr. Lito A. Palomar, Regional Education Program Supervisor in QAD (Quality Assurance Division), along with the Division NLCA Monitoring Team, Dr. Yolanda DC. Lumanog, Education Program Supervisor in AP and Madrasah Education Program, Mr. Mark Joshua B. Animas, Information Technology Officer I, and Mrs. Jocelyn L. Fortuno, Public Schools District Supervisor, visited the school to monitor and check the administration of the assessment.
The purpose of the monitoring was to ensure that the online computer-based test administration is carried out in accordance with the established standards and requirements, as well as to identify issues and concerns regarding the provision of technical assistance.
The monitoring team was accompanied by Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, and Mrs. Mariglo S. Bayot, Head Teacher III, as they inspected the testing room and the devices used to administer the examination, and since it was a computer-based examination, they also determined whether or not the examinees were capable of taking it correctly.
In addition, the team provided technical assistance and support to the school for the rest of the NLCA administration.
In general, the team commended and complimented the first day of the school’s NLCA administration despite technical difficulties experienced, such as intermittent internet connection and server network traffic due to the vast number of learners taking the assessment throughout the country.
The NLC Assessment Pre-Test shall be administered until July 7, 2023 to all Grades 7 and 8 learners enrolled in SY 2022-2023 while the Post-Test shall then be conducted in August 2023 to Grades 8 and 9 learners, SY 2023-2024.
