English Department Conducts Various Activities in National Reading Month Celebration. The English Department, under the headship of Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, Mrs. Jane B. Dacaymat, Reading Coordinator, and all the English Teachers, conducted different activities and contests in celebration of National Reading Month this November.
November 25
On November 20–23, 2023, the English Department conducted Literacy Carnival Games such as Pop the Balloons, PIKO, Hagis Pamato, and Giant Word Hunt. All English teachers, together with the practice teachers, facilitate these games. Students in Grades 7-10 enjoy these games and learn something from them.

On November 22, 2023, the English Department conducts a Human Spelling Bee -Teacher’s Edition at the school’s covered court. Mrs. Lynn T. Dimacali, Teacher III/LR Coordinator facilitates it.

As part of the National Reading Month, the English Department conducts an oratorical contest in the Multi-purpose Room. Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, of the English Department facilitates it.

As part of the celebration of National Reading Month 2023, students from Tropical Village National High School take part in a synchronous reading session at nine o’clock in the morning.

Mrs. Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I/GAD Coordinator, facilitates a meeting with the members of GAD Focal Point System on GAD plans for VAWC 2023.
The agenda of the meeting are as follows: Reconstitution of the GAD Focal Point System, VAWC Activities, Functions of the GAD Focal Point System and TWGs, Participants in the said meeting are the GAD Focal Point System, TWG, Students’ Organization Presidents and Advisers, and other matters.

English Department conducts a spelling bee to Grade 7-10 students in the Multi-purpose Room facilitated by Mrs. Lynn T. Dimacali, Grade 10 Teacher.
November 16
SPTA officers expressed full support for the programs and projects that the school is implementing, specifically in literacy and numeracy and the school’s feeding program. They also discussed other matters regarding their plans and projects for the benefit of the learners.
Moreover, they also tackled other matters such as the turn-over of the remaining funds from the previous SPTA, the collection of SPTA fees, proposed SPTA projects, livelihood training, film showing, and the student handbook. In addition, officers shared support and positive response to the school’s plan to open a Senior High School.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, discusses the school’s plan to open a senior high school to SPTA officers. Also, Ma’am Susan C. Sibulo, Head Teacher I, tackles the SPTA’s participation in the film-showing activity and their participation in the VAWC celebration. As a response, SPTA expressed support for the school’s plan, specifically in the literacy and numeracy programs, as well as the feeding program, etc.

Health Department staff of SDO Gen. Trias City, headed by Dr. Mary Grace Javier visit and conduct an inspection and monitoring on WinS, safety and sanitation of the school canteen and clinic earlier today.

TVNHS officially begins Intramurals 2023
TVNHS, along with its Tropicalian family and Principal IV, Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, has formally begun the latest Intramurals sports event of this year with the theme “Building Teamwork and Camaraderie Through Sports” for all students and teachers on November 13, 2023 packed with entertaining acts for all learners.

Tropicalian learners and parents proudly receive the report cards and certificates during the First Quarter PTC for SY 2023-2024. Parents and guardians spend time at school receiving their children’s report cards.

On November 12, TVNHS receives 150 armchairs from LGU Gentri through the effort of Cong. Antonio A. Ferrer, City Mayor Luis A. Ferrer IV, City Vice Mayor Jonas P. Labuguen and City Councilors, in coordination with Schools Division Superintendent, Ma’am Daisy Z. Miranda.

The school in the leadership of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, held a School-based LAC entitled “Proper Integration of HOTS in the Classroom Settings” which was attended by all the teachers at Tropical Village National High School on November 8, 10, 2023.
