TVNHS Conducts First Quarter SMEA

Tropicalian teaching and non-teaching personnel, stakeholders, SPTA Officers, Youth Leaders, Mr. Arnaldo O. Estareja, EPS in Filipino, Mr. Albin A. Cadimas, Principal IV of TVES, Mr. Ruperto R. De Borja, Principal IV of SBES together with their selected teachers.

TVNHS held its First Quarter School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (SMEA) for School Year 2023-2024 on September 21, 2023, in accordance with D.O No. 44, Section 2010 and Division Memorandum 461, Section 2020 and was attended by selected Tropicalian teaching and non-teaching personnel, stakeholders, SPTA Officers, Youth Leaders, Mr. Arnaldo O. Estareja, EPS in Filipino, Mr. Albin A. Cadimas, Principal IV of TVES, Mr. Ruperto R. De Borja, Principal IV of SBES together with their selected teachers.

The program began with the registration of all participants. It was followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, opening prayer, and presentation of all the participants through an audio-visual presentation.

Mrs. Jenilyn S. Loyola, SMEA Coordinator, presented the program’s statement of purpose, while Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV, went through the data presented on the school dashboard.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, shared ideas, suggestions and strategic interventions after the presenters discussed the hindering factors under their project or assigned task.

Teachers and Project Coordinators discussed the key findings in the following key performance indicators: Enrollment status, Project SAGIP CONNECT, Madrasah Education Program, Learners with Disability, Project SINuLiD STAR, Project SINuLiD SIKAP, Project SINuLiD Back to Square One, LOA Results, Learning Materials, Teachers’ Professional Development Needs, , Mental Health Check, School Safety and Protection, School Assessment on Facilities and Equipment, and School Partnership.

Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Mr. Albin A. Cadimas, Mr. Ruperto R. De Borja, Cluster 8 school heads, along with teachers, stakeholders, student-representatives, shared ideas, suggestions and strategic interventions after the presenters discussed the hindering factors under their project or assigned task.

The First Quarter SMEA for SY 2023-2024 was indeed a successful and fruitful engagement, for it is also served as benchmarking or sharing of best practices of the three schools under Cluster 8.

Wafa O. Omar, SSLG President, raised her ideas and suggestions on possible SSLG activity’s pertaining to students’ mental health check during the 1st quarter SMEA.
