Tropical Village NHS conducted the Musabaqah Culminating Activity cum Moving Up Ceremony led by the Madrasah Education Program Asatidz in collaboration with AP department earlier today, July 4.
The aims of the said event were to recognize Muslim learners who move forward to the next level of ALIVE classes; intensify the school implementation of Madrasah Education program, and create a deep and harmonious relationship between the school and the Muslim community and to showcase the Muslim learner’s talents and culture.
The Musabaqah culminating activity and Moving Up ceremony began with the welcome remarks of Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, School Head.
Moreover, a few of the most significant individuals delivered their message of support during the event.
Brgy. Councilor Ryan T. Santor gave a short yet meaningful message of support to the participants.
Also, Dr. Yolanda DC. Lumanog, Education Program Supervisor in AP and Division Madrasah Education Program Coordinator, delivered her message of thanks and support. She gave emphasis on the growing family of the MEP implementers.
In addition, selected Muslim learners showcased and exhibited their talents and skills in Qur’an Reading, Muhadara, Azan, Nasheed, Pangalay, Hadith and Seerah, and Nasheed.
Awarding of certificates of completion to 12 MEP completers, as well as the awarding of special awards were also witnessed by the participants of the program.
The Musabaqah culminating activity and Moving Up ceremony ended with a fellowship where everyone shared foods they prepared.
Overall, the culminating activity, the moving up ceremony, was a success as it was able to meet its purpose.
